I like this shop as it is spacious and always has a wide range of shoes and the staff are friendly and take their time to measure correctly and have lots of patience with the little children. If they dont have the ones you have chosen in the right size they will bring out lots of different ones so you can choose. Recommended shop. I like the fact that they do different width settings as I have quite wide feet and so does my son. They often have shoe sales and I have picked up quite a few bargains in my time especially as Clarkes shoes can be very expensive. There can be quite a bit of waiting around at busy periods but they do have a ticket system which at least makes it fair so that people are seen in the right order. I have been very happy with the service I have received and will carry on using them.

The staff are friendly and quick to help you find what you need, offering to order shoes which aren't in stock, or give alternatives! The childrens shoes are quite fashionable and a favourite with the children. The also sell some bags and purses and lots of shoe cleaning items. There is room to move in this shop as the aisles are quite wide. The sales assistants are helpful but they have never approached me I always have to go and ask for help. There is also a good range of slippers especially at Christmas and these are usually cheaper than other shops. Parking is in the paying carparks or park in the Peel Centre and get 2 hours free, just means a bit of a walk to the town.

The branch of Clarks in Wolsey Place Shopping centre is the smaller of the two branches of Clarks…read morein Woking. It's a really tiny shop which is hard to navigate with a buggy or wheelchair. Despite the size of the store they seem to carry a wide range of mens and ladies shoes. They also carry a few ladies handbags. There is no childrens department in this branch - for that you have to go to the branch in the Peacocks Centre. Seating is available in store but is limited. Staff seem to be friendlier and older than in the main branch an, as a result, I think you actually get better service. It's worth remembering that ths store exists at sale time as they often have better shoes in the sale than the main branch which seems to shift odd stock. I guess that people forget about the branch and so they also tend to have more popular sizes in the sale.
