I told them there was some dates that I couldn't do for some of the shows. They said no problem, you can change to a different day or seat without charge for any show. However when I went to change my ticket, I was charged ticket change fees. I called to ask about this and they said Ticketmaster has decided to start charging change fees. I told them this wasn't what I was told when I signed up, and they said it was new and they refused to wave the fee. If I could cancel my season ticket membership I would but they won't refund me so I am stuck with all the fees to change the tickets for the shows I can't attend. It seems like Ticketmaster can do/charge whatever they want. I am tired of the consumer being hosed again and again. Shame on Broadway in Boston, and triple shame on Ticketmaster who now charges fees on top of fees (they also charge fees for the season ticket to start with!)

I love that they are instilling the love of theater into these kids. They also discuss the process of a production and the characterthe child is portraying even when it is a small, non-speaking roll, They utilize all of the children that try out and it works wonderfully. We have thus far only been able to do the musicals but one day the stars will align in our schedules and we will get to do a black box production. My favorite production so far has been "The Pirates of Penzance".

Over time, my daughter has not only learned how to dance, but she has learned responsibility, time management, and the importance of "showing up." I do not sugar coat anything and can say that this studio is not perfect...but this is because none of them are. It is about finding the right fit for each dance family. All parents have their frustrations, at any studio. This studio, like so many others, has rules and policies in place for a reason. We are glad they do. Every experience is different, but we have not encountered any instances of racial or religious insensitivity. I would be thoroughly surprised if we did. The dance family at this studio, which not only includes staff but also the fellow dance moms/dads, have always been helpful and compassionate despite the personal challenges faced by our family. It's disheartening to see such negativity towards a studio that is a second home for our daughter. We always have a Holiday concert that always tries to embrace lots of celebrations. So we celebrate the Christians and the Jews and pagans and well you know who you are. Jordan Hall is where the fun is. The Spring Show is going to be an all original piece composed specifically for our Chorus and will be one night only at Symphony Hall. The Pride Concert usually has a serious beautiful start and then ends with a big Gay ending. We're pretty good at that. When Napster first arrived during my college years in the late 90's, early 2000's, I had downloaded…read morehundreds of choral Christmas music, and much of it was from the various Gay Men's Choruses around the country. I thought to myself "Wow, I'd love to hear a choir like this live one day!" 10 years later, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a wonderful Holiday concert in my own neighborhood at the beautiful New England Conservatory of Music concert hall. I ventured to this concert alone and was seated way up on the balcony, which was perfect due to stadium seating, since I'm short. Plus, these tickets were less expensive. The concert itself was phenomenal. I usually get bored with music concerts, but I did not with this one. I was also blown away with how the ensemble sounded 100% professional, which surprised me as I think that this is just something this chorale does "on the side" (though I could be wrong). It was by far, my favorite performance that I have attended here in the city. I think I had a stupid grin on my face, because an all-male ensemble, holiday music, and an engaged audience really made for a fantastic experience. I haven't attended any other concerts, as I am sort of picky as to what sort of music I like to enjoy, but I will be absolutely will be making the holiday concert a new tradition in my life. When he finished up the 5-week course by telling the most talented and passionate performer in the class that she displayed "the most terrible acting (he) had seen all year", we all reached the mutual consensus that we wasted $350 and learned way more from each other than we did from the instructor. The word tossed around after class was "crazy", and I am sure that the 7 of us who took it will never take another of his classes again.

Brianne's style is a "Tell you like it is!" method, meaning to sober up anyone with visions of grandeur of what the industry is all about and what you as an actor can expect. We prepared monologues for class, after the first half was spent in lecture on the Stanford Meisner approach and audition protocols, and how to meet industry expectations. I learned new things about myself, which is helping me develop a stronger foundation and preparation for opportunities.
