My daughter learned so much from dance technique to stage presence and everything in between! The confidence that she built as a dancer has been truly remarkable to watch. There are many dance studios in our area to consider but what I can tell you is that Miss Heejins is a notch above the rest. When at competitions, my husband and I would always be in awe of how sharp and incredible the Miss Heejin dances were. Sure other studios are good but theres a difference. We would call it the Miss Heejin snap! Clean, sharp, precise, and just pure talent! When my daughter faced challenges, Miss Heejin showed up! Miss Deb is wonderful and enthusiastic- upon our first conversation with her, she was so helpful in making a class recommendation based on age and her ability. I love that she's also passionate about supporting their learning, development, and building that confidence not just for the stage but in LIFE. The instructors are also wonderful. Miss Ellen and the assistants are just great with the little kids and really ensure a positive experience in the studio. After checking out a few dance studios in the area, we thought Arthur Murray was the best match for us. What we liked most is that the environment was casual, and the dancers looks more like your neighbors, rather than world champion celebrity dancers. There were people of all ages, and everyone seemed to be there for fun, not competition. We experimented with both swing dancing and tango, and our instructors were willing to let us try anything. Sessions were relaxed and fun, and the hours were pretty flexible too. We ended up learning a fabulous foxtrot and swing routine that got a lot of cheering and applause at our wedding. I can't wait to take more lessons.
