She treats her workers awful and talks down to them like they are dogs. She seems to be on a power struggle and it's obvious that it is her age and insecurity. I know that finding employees is hard as no one is willing to work but she is what I find the bottom of the barrel. On another note the customer service at the front of the store lacks. Mostly on there phones and talking instead of doing there job. I have been there on many occasions and it never is different. I will not return I will be going to Dunham's or Cliff's in Clare. I can't stand by and watch her treat people with this disrespect.

I paid for a sharpening choil to be cut into the blade, and then for a polished edge to be…read moresharpened/applied. The choil is set perfectly and is cut in exactly where I would have done it myself. It was definitely sharpened, and polished at a fairly high grit (my guess would be 1200 - 1500), but zero correction was done to the factory's angle, and about an inch of low spot is easily visible. I'll have to re-sharpen it myself to re-profile it and be content. At the end of the day, they did what I paid them to do, but I'm disappointed in their sharpening abilities.

We're talking plastic bags over my sneakers just to go outside due to the snow and the pipes freezing in the washing machine after I'd loaded 75% of our clothes in with soap. I'll go ahead and answer that question that is running through your mind even as I type; yes, I AM a complete idiot. What to do? Head into the Sportsman Shop in Glen Arbor. Although quite small, they have a great selection of high quality mens and womens coats, sweaters, shirts, long underwear, socks, foot gear, etc. at very reasonable prices. I've purchased a lovely, well made and much needed pair of boots for myself, some jammies & pants for the fella and we're set to go until the roads are safe to head back to Chicago. Good variety of Woolrich, Columbia, etc. in clothing and sporting gear for fishing and hunting and they even offer chartered fishing trips. Look for significant discounts after Thanksgiving - there are bargains to be had. Very friendly and helpful staff (I went in not knowing the fellas pants size and the incredibly nice saleslady helped me find a pair that fit him perfectly) and open year round to save dumb asses like myself from their ill conceived follies - I highly recommend this incredibly useful store.

Found several other items on sale and suffice it to say when I go back to TC, I always come here and always buy something on sale. Considering the swim suit a splurge. I was so happy that they had them and I did not have to wait to have them be delivered to my house. They only have three colors in the men's sizes but that was ok. Karen was a great help, she brought me my size in all three of the colors and was very personable. She made me feel very welcomed. They also seemed to have good selection of sports/outside gear but did not have the time too look around much. I Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.
