Since we had already taken care of engagement photos before meeting with Ani, she offered to capture some photos the night before our wedding at our rehearsal dinner. Our family and friends totally fell in love with her. When she needed to (like for our group shots and bridal party photos) she provided direction, but otherwise she just stayed close by and captured the most candid, genuine moments. We are forever grateful to Ani for our gorgeous wedding photos. We contacted Lee who was incredibly personable and made time to meet with us on Memorial Day. Since we are new to this first time parenting thing we ran a little late but Lee was welcoming and made us feel comfortable by saying "the baby dictates the session." When it came to the shoot itself, Lee was creative with her shots and incorporated us as much as possible. She additionally allowed us to bring in some of our own ideas. In the end, we loved the shoot and can't wait to see the final product. In advance he scoped the property and made great…read morerecommendations about the size and layout for our event, and counseled us on details like adding lights inside the tent (didn't realize how important that was for a daytime event!). When the weather turned just days before out event, he was able to pivot with us to enlarge the tent and add sides to help it stay warmer inside. After everything was set up he realized one piece was missing for one table, and went out of his way to get it and bring it all the way back to our property so the setup was perfect. His team was friendly, respectful, timely and did an A+ job setting up the tent, tables, chairs and all the rentals we ordered. Great communication, friendly service, quality product.

We searched low and high for an affordable wedding venue on the Cape and couldn't have been happier…read morewith the Wequaquet Lake Yacht Club. Working with Dawn, the event coordinator was such a wonderful experience. The WLYC sits right on Wequaquet Lake, making it a dreamy backdrop for all of our pictures. Every single person we interacted with (especially Dawn) at WLYC was genuinely kind and helpful throughout the entire process, we never felt like we were just another wedding. We were able to bring in our own catering and use their kitchen. Part of their contract is to use their bar and bartenders (who were amazing, our guests raved about them!), fortunately their alcohol was very reasonably priced. The whole dining room faces the lake and large windows run the length of the room, there was plenty of space for all of our (17) tables and still room for dancing! They done a number of renovations over the past few years, giving the dining and entry rooms a beautiful facelift (and a higher ceiling) without losing any of the Cape yacht club charm. This venue is amazing whether or not you're planning your event on a budget (but especially if you are). Check it out, talk to Dawn, you will not regret it!
