I've been coming to Shop Suey Boutique for years, and it's always one of my favorite spots in Redlands. They have the cutest outfits and accessories, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. I also love their event nights, like wreath making and mahjong. Most recently, I scheduled a color analysis party with Heather for my friends and family. I thought it would just be a fun activity to do together, but it was actually so much more! We learned a lot about our own seasons and color palettes, Heather was incredibly professional, and we had way more fun than we expected. I totally recommend getting your color analysis done ASAP. We traveled all the way from Orange County to get our color analysis done, and it was absolutely worth it. Heather, the owner, gave us such an amazing experience from start to finish. She welcomed us with a lovely mimosa and immediately walked us through how the entire process works, which made everything feel comfortable and easy to understand. This was honestly one of the most empowering things I've done for myself in a long time. I can already tell it's going to completely change the way I shop and put outfits together. Recently I had a work trip to Redlands, and I really enjoyed walking around the adorable and artistic downtown area. I noticed the tastefully decorated store window of Shop Suey one evening and decided that I had to return the next day when the store was open. The next day, I walked in and appreciated the kind greeting from the young store clerk, as well as how each display was decorated in a stylish manor. There was the bright yellow and orange area, the pickle ball display, a pink area, and a purple area. I felt the clothing and accessories were well-suited for women of all ages. Everything was really cute, and many things were just my style. I resisted buying gifts for all my friends. I ended up trying on and purchasing a gorgeous citrus-themed summer sundress. The only complaint that I have is that the store is a bit overpriced. It is a mid-range retailer, but I did feel that some of the tops and jewelry were a bit higher than they should be. That said, if you enjoy shopping in small independent shops, and you like clothing and accessories that are "girly", Shop Suey is the place for you. read more

Shop Suey is a charming and unique little boutique clothing/jewelry/accessories store located in downtown Redlands. They are located on Orange Ave, next to a cobbler and a few doors down from Kluddes and The Royal Falconer. I'll be very up front here and say this right now for my kind readers. This is a "chick store". Redlands seems to have quite a few of these. But this is a good thing, even for us guys! It's always nice to have a few go-to shops in the area to take the women on our arms to shop and browse; and Shop Suey is certainly a fun example of this. My wife likes to pop in to here a couple times a month to peruse and shop; so most of my review here is based on her experiences. First off, a word about the employees. In the 10 or so visits we've made, we have never experienced anything but smiles, great attitudes and employees that are always happy to help. Everyone here has been wonderful! It's always refreshing to come into a business and be treated well. The shop itself is cute cute cute without being cloyingly so. They feature clothing, jewelry, sunglasses (of which the wifey has found a few cute pairs from here), purses, earrings, local artwork and home decor and other similar accessories. As far as the prices go; to be honest, I would say they are reasonable on some items and pricey on others. This is much like you'd find at any other small boutique store. However I wouldn't say anything here is shockingly expensive; as I've found at a couple other similar shops in town that will remain nameless. I really want to give this place 5 stars; but there is something from my wife's shopping experiences here that , for now, will keep it at 4. You see, my wife is a plus-size woman. This being said, she HAS found clothing items here in her size..and some really cute ones too! We both feel that their size selection could use a bit of...expansion (pardon the pun! Lol!). She has talked to some of the employees about this, and we do understand that certain vendors only offer clothing in particular sizes. They've always been gracious about this feedback; and we hope they can put it to good use to help diversify their clothing selections a bit. That being said, there is no reason at all not to pay this place a visit! We are big big fans of "Shop Local", and will certainly be paying this place more visits. My new favorite boutique! My entire visit was awesome! The staff ~ friendly and helpful , the dressing rooms ~ large and spacious and the beautiful, historical building ~ so elegantly adorned! But let's talk about the clothing and accessories ...fabulous! A vast assortment of dresses, shorts, and pants to choose from not to mention hats, purses & jewelry. This shop is super cute but way over priced. I've found items that they have on shein and AMAZON! For triple the price such as the Taylor swift slippers. Very unfortunate. Thankfully I didn't buy them from there as a gift for someone and saved some money but super disappointing considering how expensive everything is these days. read more
