The store is super-clean and well organized and the check-out staff are always friendly and polite. Late one afternoon, I had difficulty renewing a prescription here and the pharmacist and assistant appeared uncaring and disinterested. I had to call back to get the service that I needed the next day from a different pharmacist who was very friendly and helpful. This store is open until 10 p.m. and while it's hard to understand the logic of a drugstore that closes that early in a community without an ER or late night walk- in clinic, it must be based on consumer demand. People must just be going elsewhere.

The current owner has endeavoured to make improvements in the whole system of filling prescriptions and dispensing medications in a timely manner. My husband and I suffer from chronic pain and so, a reliable drug store is essential for us. Several months ago, we almost went to a competitor for our prescription needs but decided to give the new owner of the pharmacy a chance to improve the service. We are glad we did because we are noticing a good effort on the pharmacy's part regarding our prescriptions getting filled much more promptly and without confusion or hassle. Keep up the good work!

They were good and then they started making them in a factory, freezing them and shipping them to stores, and they are now terrible. At Zehrs, you can get old school donuts at amazing old school prices! $1 a donut when you buy 6! You can also buy single donuts from the self serve case. I have tried the glazed (think Krispy Kreme original), Chocolate Eclair/Long John (yeast donut with "whipped cream" and chocolate glaze), Glazed Persian (This Thunder Bay remake has no pink icing, just a tasty cinnamon donut), Old Fashioned Cake (needs some nutmeg and a bit more moisture to be perfect), Apple Fritter (decent but San Remo still makes the best Apple Fritter) and hands down the best donut Zehr's offer: the Raspberry jelly filled donut - a super soft yeast donut filled with raspberry jelly (and I mean FILLED) and topped with powdered sugar... my only complaint is it has a lot of powdered sugar, but I just brush it off before eating, so I don't end up wearing it all! Because I don't live in Bradford, I actually order in advance and they are always happy to accommodate! The store itself is a nice store, part of the Loblaws brand, and they are the only store near me that sell PC Caramelized Onion and Balsamic Kettle Chips, which is one of hubby's faves.
