MS Hot tamales are supreme!!…read more I haven't been to this place since I left Mississippi in 2017. I was in the area and decided to stop by and get some MS Delta Hot Tamales. These tamales are made with yellow corn meal and simmered in a WELL seasoned broth! These tamales were so seasoned, warm, and good. I only wish it had a little more meat. But overall they were perfect. I got a half dozen for $9.99. The menu had other items as well. I ordered a mango lemonade. My lemonade was so tasty! The service was fast and friendly. The vibe was inviting, intimate, clean, and comfortable. If you ever touch down in Greenville, MS please give it a try.

As a minor personal note, the wings were just a little too salty for my taste, but everything else was absolutely fantastic. A real highlight of our meal was when the owner stopped by our table to check on us and chat about the restaurant. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a huge difference. We enjoyed our experience so much we couldn't leave without buying a T-shirt to remember it by! We are genuinely sad that we can't stop here again before leaving Greenville. Highly recommend!

Who knew you could find the best fried chicken at a gas station convenient store?!…read more Ever since I can remember, we'd stopped at Dodges to fill up the gas tank. My brother and I always joked that they had chicken wings at a gas station. "How good could they be?" We'd always laugh. But then one time we were down south with husband and he commented on the fact that they sell fried chicken wings at a gas station. After passing it up several times driving back and forth between Leland and Greenville, my husband decided we had to stop and try it. Good thing we did! Best darned spicy fried chicken wings I've had, anywhere! Crispy, flavorful and spicy! Delicious combo! Too bad they don't have these out in California!
