He kept cutting me off when I was trying to describe my symptoms, and explaining things to me like I was a 2 year old. He ignored what I had to say, and sent me out the door without treating the problems I came in for. He told me to stop by the front desk on the way out. After waiting there for a few minutes the girl working the counter was very rude to me as well. I left and will never come back.

Three hours later and there is no prescription. I called the office which is already closed and there is no answering service on call. I called several local pharmacies, in case a mistake was made. Now I will have to return to the office tomorrow, to have this rectified. They had ONE TASK TO COMPLETE, but it was too much to ask. Now I am in pain, I had my Sunday morning wasted and I'll have to do it all over again tomorrow. Why is it so hard for people to be responsible and do their job? I am majorly disappointed.

Her office is usually full which I recommend to be a patient person because everyone gets the same great exam as you will. Currently she is not accepting new patients which I suspect is because she does not wish to cut her time away from the patients she already has. For new patients there is a NP that I have not met but if she works with Dr. Sahay you know she is a caring person with great skill.

Be prepared to wait because she spends time with her patients...which is a good thing and rare these days. You don't get treated like cattle there. It is a low-budget operation though. Frequently the computers are running slow, but the exam rooms are kept neat and clean. I only have two complaints: 1. It's too hot in the waiting room 2. Some of the other patients arrive with very bad body odor and/or reeking of smoke Don't come here looking for pain pill prescriptions. They won't put up with your shit! They no longer take NEW NJ Family Care patients.

She spoke to the doctor directly. He asked why she wanted that test and she explained why. She also said maybe she should go to a Urologist. Dr. Cristal asked when her appointment was...she stated she didn't have one...she wanted to discuss this option with him. Dr. Cristal then told my mother to make an appointment with a Urologist and then have that doctor call him....and hung up on her! No prescription for a urine test, no recommendation for a Urologist, he didn't even ask her if there STILL was blood in her urine! He is located in Toms River...I am in northern New Jersey...but I will be meeting with him to discuss his treatment of my mother. In the meantime...if you are looking for a good doctor...avoid Dr. Ruben Cristal.

Either they don't get passed onto the Dr or he chooses to just ignore them. The Dr. also has a short fuse with his temper so bedside manner is not something I think he even cares about. Bottom line is there are many way better doctors out there I am happy I left when I did. Maybe he just has so many patients he just does not care about losing some but never in my life have I met a doctor with an attitude or such a terrible bedside manner as he has. they also need to find someone a little more responsible to answer the phone and take messages but my guess is they don't care about that either. In the interim some friends that I spoke to said that they would never go to Community for various reasons. My experience !! It was seamless. We pulled up to the entrance and somebody was right there to valet our car, I was directed to the lab area, and had all my tests done, it was so easy. I met a nurse there I believe her name was Liz and she was so friendly and comforting. But from the time I checked in at the desk to the time I left everybody that I came in contact with was wonderful!! I had my surgery on February 26th and I went home on February 27. From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. I just now wish that I hadn't been afraid to do it and I put it off for way too long. My Dr is Dr.Nugent and he is absolutely the best. So absolutely no complaints if I had to do it over again I would certainly go to your hospital. Leann said she didn't call me and didn't make any effort to resolve the issue I was having with getting the medication refilled. In my opinion, there was no reason for me to be playing phone tag because on Wednesday, when I spoke to possibly Rosie, and Rosie said the doctor will send the Rx to Pharmacy Emporium, it should have been done. If it was my business, or I worked in the office of Dr Flaks, I would not respnd to patients with "I did not call you." I would take care of the reason for the call first time call resolution, and if not in one call, I would follow through and ensure that my reason for calling was resolved and I would have called me back. She did not do any of that. Leann also said she did not see that anyone called me from there yesterday but they did twice and left me a voicemail once. My phone keeps track of all the times I have spoken to them. From now on, I am not deleting their voicemail messages to show proof that someone there left me messages, some of which are very detailed which I prefer. If I knew how to record the calls themselves, I would do that too. I know I can, but I don't do it. I have been waiting since LAST Wednesday for Zoryve to be sent to a specialty pharmacy and for that pharmacy to contact me for my new insurance to fill the medication for me which I really need. Meanwhile, last week, I was told Dr Flaks said she will send a RX for the Zoryve to that pharmacy and I haven't gotten it or heard from the specialty pharmacy and her office staff isn't doing their due diligence. Dr Flaks does not seem to care either, and now I am looking for a new dermatologist who knows how to treat their patients as well as their staff. Do better!!!

Seven months later, I called for a refill for Solontra rosacea cream and told they won't refill unless I came in for another office visit. In my experience, you only need to be seen once a year for rosacea. There is no reason to pay for another office visit. I was going to refer my daughter to Dr. Derrick for her rosacea, but now she is staying with her dermatologist and a once a year visit. Paragon derm lost 2 patients due to a money grab.
