We have a Church that is over a hundred years old in Lee Florida that was in need of foundation adjustments. From the initial evaluation to the final jack being installed, the crew was extremely professional and proficient at their craft. Patrick, the crew foreman was excellent at explaining each task and going into detail eliminating any area of question or doubt. Alex and Dale were part of the Support crew of which neither stood idle and the job finished on time as promised thanks to their good work ethic. The Poly level crew Kalen and Jace were in and out so quickly, it seemed unreal, and hardly a trace of the holes drilled to apply expandable foam can be seen. Great Job! The competition had a price tag that of 86% more in cost putting it well above $100,000 for repairs. No complaints about the other company other than the extremely high price. Shore Up Foundation Repair matched recommended repairs same as their competition without knowing that we had another quote. This provided some comfort knowing two professionals are pointing out almost verbatim the same areas of concern. As someone who is extremely thorough when vetting companies, I can say with complete confidence that all the heavy lifting I did upfront--interviewing more than five different foundation companies--truly paid off. Engineering report highly inaccurate and would not correct, saying owner supplied geotechnical report made no difference. Contracted to install helical piers,which their engineering report called for, but when field crew. showed up, I was notified that the helical piers could not be used, an they had to use push piers. They assured me that they were adequate...Said they would use 7' lengths,but I only saw 3' lengths. No Building department inspeectionnn took place, only a ' virtual ' one.. Stay tuned.. read more

We knew this was going to be a large purchase, so we vetted accordingly. We hired Shore Up based on their experience, quality of reviews available and the value we felt we were getting. As a military veteran we received a discount that brought their bid closer to others. Upon closer review Shore Up was providing more piling locations that in turn had provided more stability. Although the experience of a foundation problem is not good, the experience with the team at Shore Up Foundation was very good. Branden was our first contact, and he was very thorough and provided us a plan of action to resolve the issue. We were scheduled in a very reasonable amount of time and the staff performing the work were prompt, very polite, efficient and professional. We are not foundation experts, but we questioned the actual "fix" because we didn't feel it was performed as described in the initial meeting/plan which still left us with a small issue in our subfloor. We expressed our concern with Adlai and he was quick to respond since it was time-sensitive due to other work we had scheduled on our home. He came on a weekend to resolve the issue and took care of our needs. Shore Up's pricing was fair and in line with (less than) a second quote we received. We chose them because we like to support locally owned businesses when we have the opportunity. We just completed our follow-up visit for a remeasure and small adjustments and everything is looking good. Contacted them for a second opinion following a consultation with a larger foundation company in the area. Eric thoroughly explained the process and took my concerns into consideration. When I told him I had already had another company come out, he asked that I not share the estimate I was given by them ahead of time so he could give an unbiased opinion. We sat down to go over the plan for stabilizing my foundation and despite their measurements, methodology, and plans being nearly identical, Shore Up's estimate came in at ~$10k less than the other company's. He told me he thinks about his clients' homes is if they were his granny's house when we were discussing options, and I genuinely believe that with the transparency throughout the process as well as his courteous nature. I called them all and spent several months deciding before I chose Shore up. Why? I had a lot of questions and Eric either picked up the phone when I called or returned my texts & calls promptly. He calmed my fears and answered every question (some 2x). They never sent me pressured texts about discounts from salespeople I'd never met. Shore -Up's bid was competitive but the super helpful staff that seem to love the company sealed the deal for me. Lifting a house up is a big expensive but necessary job. Early December 2024, I had a residential rental to be sold but there was some settling in one corner of the house. I made one phone call to Shore Up Foundation Repair and spoke to Eric. Eric came and saw my situation and had a solution worked out quickly and said the guys could be out there middle of January 2025. I explained that we must, without fail, close by 12/31/2024. He said give him ten minutes. He called back and said no worries. We will be there 12/31/2024 bright and early.
