We stayed here for a week in the summer. The chalet we stayed in was very basic and last decorated about 25 years ago. Several things were wrong - dripping tap, broken heater, no key for back door (fire hazard) and despite numerous complaints nothing was done. The swimming pool was nice. read more

Stayed here on a Mon - Fri holiday last week. Had a brilliant time! Our lodge was very clean, well maintained and well equipped. TV & mobile reception wasn't that great but that's great if you're looking to get away from it all! I would definitley recommend and would stay there again. read more

History
Established in 1958.
Shorefield Holidays was formed on the 4th July 1958 by the late Dr Robert Pollock. When he was unable to find a touring pitch for the family's annual holiday, he purchased a small caravan park next to a worked-out gravel pit in Milford on Sea and so the company was born. More than 60 years later and Shorefield Holidays is still family run. Since then, we have never lost sight of why people choose to spend their precious downtime with us and we are proud to help families create unforgettable memories together. Our award-winning company now consists of eight stunning holiday parks, all situated within Dorset and the New Forest, with family remaining at the heart of everything we do.

I have stayed at Shorefields for 7 years. The lodges we rent are always clean on arrival and very cosy and comfortable. The site is lovely and peaceful, and has good amenities for those who want to use them (indoor and outdoor swimming pool, crazy golf, tennis etc). There is also a well-stocked Spar store. What we like most about the site is the location. It is easy to get to towns like Christchurch and Bournemouth, but it isn't necessary to venture too far as you can walk from the site to the beach in about 10-15 minutes through a lovely wood, and even just walking around the site itself is enjoyable. I have rated the price as average but we have never stayed in the summer as it is a bit pricey for us then, we usually stay around Easter. read more
