Dr. Carollo is such a genuinely kind and attentive doctor. She really listened to what I was experiencing with my foot and gave me several non-invasive options to try to heal an inflamed nerve. I'm happy to report after following her recommendation and getting custom orthotics the nerve has finally healed and feels back to normal. And he did. He rebuilt my foot and did an excellent job! My left foot is collapsing now due to arthritis and I will be having Dr. Loder rebuild it soon. June 30, 2023 - Friday…read more Review #437 Last year in the Fall of 2022, my previous podiatrist from Associated Orthopedics of Detroit left the practice and he wasn't replaced. In March while working 8 hours a day on my feet, the joint pain came back especially painful at night. I was referred by my family Dr. Kavanagh in April to see a new podiatrist named Dr. Anthony Giordano. He has over 25 years experience in the medical field and is accepting new patients. My appointment was on June 14th. We chatted about my foot history, and he read over my medical forms that I completed in advance online. He went over my ex-rays and examined the joints in my toes. His answer and conclusion is that I have Arthritis starting. So I can say thank you to my Dear Mother. :-) Instead of a cortisone shot as in the past 3 years with my health issue he suggested a new type of injection treatment which is 3 weeks apart. It will slow down the wear and tear known as osteoarthritis and help replenish the joint. The fluid injection is called hyaluronic acid to provide a space filler to increase joint mobility reduce joint inflammation and help my big toe and feel better with less stiffness. So on June 14, 2023 I received it and I can say the pain is not as bad and tolerable and 2 more shots to go in 3 weeks. I will "keep it moving" by riding my bike or walking in which the pain does subside. My 2nd shot in the right foot joint area will be on July 11th, So - Oh Thank Heaven for 7-11 Slurpee Day. He informed Me that I will NOT need surgery since the bones are profound and no misalignment as seen on the ex-rays, just unhappy nerves. He has a Wonderful sense of humor which makes me laugh. She sought out a new practice and that's how we landed here. I was impressed with the large waiting room and the selection of diabetic shoes on display. There's plenty of seating with a TV mounted on the wall and enough magazines for everyone. Although in today's world, it seems like most people are always being entertained on their cell phones. The check in process on the tablet took quite a bit of time to complete and I'm used to filling in the information for her at other physician's offices. I guess that's a good thing though, because they're very thorough with the health questions. Her appointment was with Dr. Rogers. I had the opportunity to meet him in the exam room while I assisted my mom with explaining her ongoing problems and helping her decide on the best treatment option. He was very patient and kind and explained each option so she fully understood. He performed the procedure and she was good to go. She's now recovering and isn't in pain anymore. She's very happy she made the switch and wishes she had made the decision to seek out a new practice months ago. There are 6 podiatrists that practice here so that's a plus that she liked. They also have locations in Shelby Township, Rochester, Chesterfield, Clinton Township, East China Township and Fort Gratiot. That's another plus for their patients. I am pleased to know and use 4 different locations out of 6 for my wellness or feeling under the weather office visits. On January 5, 2026 I had a sinus infection that needed attention plus was given a antibiotic in the end of my appointment with Dr. P. Patel. He is one of the many doctors in this medical group. My regular doctor Jennifer Hichme and Kristina Batkins were unavailable when I urgently called here. The Staff at the appointment desk was kind enough to fit Me in with him and I was glad to be taken care of in a kind and attentive plus responsive way. High Fives to the staff here at this office in the Corewell Health Medical Building On Hall Rd and Tilch. The lobby is small but I wore a mask since I was ill and others were sitting half in a wellness area and half in illness section of chairs. This location also has a blood work lab that is only by appointment. I was taking care of after a 15 minute wait since I was early for the time of my appointment. The nurse to complete my vitals and short conversation was very kind and pleasant with her job. Dr. Patel was considerate, helpful with my questions plus knowledgeable to my previous health condition and surgery back in September 2025. He was careful to prescribe Me a medication for the sinus infection that would not interact with my new meds, so I appreciated that concern and attention. Like the other Silver Pine locations, the office experience, care of quality, and type of care was caring and concerning. I connected with my Corewell Health Portal the next day to read his notes about my illness appointment and results. My prescription was sent to my pharmacy after I left this office and was ready in less than 30 minutes. I am glad to have this location available and close to My Home in Macomb when I need to see My 1 of 2 doctors based on their schedule and appointments open here. The Physicians here are advanced and can vaccinate with flu or COVID shots and treat a patient with respect. My 5 stars are true based on my visits in the Silver Pine Medical Group.
