First off, they do use prong collars for the correction method. We were familiar with this and already had a prong from another place we attempted training at. If you don't already have one, they have collars you can purchase. I am so surprised to see the other reviews of people thinking they are harsh on their dogs.. They are firm, but fair with the dogs. Our trainer absolutely adored every dog I saw them with. These dogs are there to get trained, not pampered. Anyway, when you come to pick up your dog after the 3 weeks, you get 3 one on one lessons to schedule. The first one is that day, and it can be a little overwhelming, but if you have any questions they are receptive to any phone calls. Speaking of the phone- As this is a training facility, they aren't always able to answer right away, but they do call back within a few hours. If (when) we get another dog, I would absolutely use this program again.

Another person said there dog was so upset it had cage wire stuck its mouth from trying to get out of the small cage it was in. They think they are the best and they suck! My dog was a nervous wreck there and is so calm otherwise. Stay away from there, I feel so bad for the dogs, they look so sad. The police men were kind to their dogs when they came in, but that's it.

I learned Robin was in town vacationing and she agreed to work with my dog. She had such a way with him. Learning from her was a game for him. He was always so happy to see her. In a short amount of time, the dog was behaving so much better. She also gave me instructions on how to continue with the training. She still checks on us to see how we are doing. I also saw some of her videos of the dog shows. Looks like so much fun for everyone, especially for the children. Wish I could see the show in person.

I left my pets here expecting great care per reviews but was very disappointed…read more I received a call that my one pet would not put weight on his hind leg the night before I was to pick them up. It was the same the next morning, so I took him to emergency care since my vet didn't have any open appointments. I noticed he had several burrs, the painful kind in his tail and fur. The vet found burrs in his ears and after Knocking him out and X-rays we were told nothing was wrong that they could see except a little swelling in his hindquarters. The next day he was back to running around his yard and gas been the same since. My vet bill was astronomical, and no-one has called to see how he is. And I paid extra for walks where ge picked up these burrs.

Long story short, Benji did GREAT and all thanks to HPM! Firstly, as a commuting worker, the chauffeur service was amazing. They gave me a window for pick up and drop off a week in advance and were perfectly on time. You can tell that they really love their dogs upon their greeting and departure. Second, Benji loved having a huge yard to run and play in. I got a picture the first day (attached) and a video the next of him playing! It really put my nerves at ease. The price was totally reasonable and the options for grooming or swim lessons were awesome additions. I will absolutely be using Gabby and Happy Pup Manor in the future!
