Then he seemed frustrated that I was looking at all the meat they offered. The grey bacon in the case didn't look appealing, so I passed on that... I ended up purchasing a 6 pound box of breakfast sausage and 5 pounds of ground round. I should have checked the price tag - they charged me 50 cents more per pound and called it chuck instead of round. Ugh!

Like yesterday, I was looking for a smoked pork shanks to make bean soup and the head exactly what I want the price was easily within the price at local food stores.

My total at the checkout was ~$34. The staff was very HELPFUL in explaining the ingredients for each type of sausage. Unfortunately, no samples of the cooked sausages were available. I would be willing to buy larger quantities if I had a sample and was certain that I liked it. Great selection of beer and wine as well.
