Then he seemed frustrated that I was looking at all the meat they offered. The grey bacon in the case didn't look appealing, so I passed on that... I ended up purchasing a 6 pound box of breakfast sausage and 5 pounds of ground round. I should have checked the price tag - they charged me 50 cents more per pound and called it chuck instead of round. Ugh!

The workers are always friendly and give good advice. The store is always clean and well kept and easy to see the food in the displays. If you're looking for something special, this is a place to go. They treat you like a king. So that all said I'll probably go there once a month to fulfill a special need. Like yesterday, I was looking for a smoked pork shanks to make bean soup and the head exactly what I want the price was easily within the price at local food stores.

This comes with 4 meats, 4 sides, and 4 pieces of Cornbread. I got Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and Ribs ($8 upcharge) for my meats. From best to least it was Ribs, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and then the Pulled Pork. I would get the ribs and brisket again, but probably pass on the wings and pulled pork.
