Great amphitheater venue and great area for the fair. There are roughly about 15-20 booths, most are foods and most are deep fry or grill and beers/cocktails booths. Other than that, not much to do.

I think the Glow Up event was really cool, especially since you can walk around and under the balloons. It has a great vibe and it's free. Glow Up is a dance event? I don't think so. If it were, there would be a dance floor. That said, everyone walking around, chatting with strangers, taking cool balloon pictures, and enjoying the awesome weather was great fun. Great music, but the Mayor's welcome speech had a dead mic. I'm sure whatever she said was good. There are good restaurants around, I'm partial to Desert Thai, but there are other options that are all good. Roost has good cocktails and had a singer that was blowing it out. What I like is that walking between the two Blow Ups, San Jacinto Rd Miguel Casino and Cathedral City, there was plenty of space to not feel crowded out. Everyone seemed welcome. Families and couples, of all orientations, meandered and got along. Not just got along, actually enjoyed hanging with each other. This amazing event was free. Hard to complain about anything, when it's completely free.

Starting time is now at 7pm. Hours change in June. Still light out but supposedly somewhat cooler in a sense...lol... Loads of vendors with theirs good all on display. I believe they tend to have the same spot so it's good if you know what you're looking for. Some weeks have tends to change with some of the vendors as I have noticed. You see loads of amazing artwork which is perfect for the Palm Springs vibes. You get artwork, sculpture, candles, loads of jewelry, apparel both with stores and some business. Besides that, you have loads of food stalls. Plus there's a good amount of fresh baked goods and nuts. A good stretch of downtown Palm Springs with everyone out and about. Not only that, a lot of the businesses are still open which is good. It's a perfect family outing, pets are welcome so it's great to just be out when it's still nice and warm out. Also live music.

The parade starts at 10:00am along the main strip leading to downtown. Parking wasn't too bad as we knew that the main area would be closed off. A lot of the residential area had parking available so it wasn't too bad. Along the main strip, everyone was already situated with their chairs and ready for a fun experience. We ended up finding a place for brunch that was right on the blvd. Brunch and a parade on deck, it was nice. Security was on point and scattered throughout. Walking about keeping everyone safe and enjoying it just like everyone else. We were all there for the same reason, to celebrate Pride. It's was beautiful to see everyone out and about all for the same reason. Loving each other and welcoming everyone. Parade started on time I believe as we were somewhat in the middle of the route. It was lovely to see all the locals with floats displaying so much love and color. The excitement in everyone cheering each other. All the different business, company marching together. The fun lively music going down the street to keep the energy alive. It was a hot one that day so it was nice to be able to be at a restaurant. After the parade, everyone walks towards the main area which is right in the heart of town and at Arena. The focal point, the Ferris wheel. Loads of food vendors offering amazing dishes. The stores were all open welcoming everyone in. A small section was blocked off for all the vendors off Arena. As well as where the bars were. Dance stages were set up for all the outdoor fun. Once the sun set, the party was happening. Everyone's out enjoying and having a blast. The crowd of colorful people celebrating love and pride. Bars were packed, people walking around and just enjoying themselves. It's open to everyone. Compared to other pride festivals, this was free. My favorite out of all the others I've attended. It's held in November when the weather is better. But all the times I've been, it's been hot. So stay hydrated at all time. Hotels tends to host lots of parties so you'll find someplace to party. Restaurant is all amazing. If you ever get a chance, experience Palm Springs Pride at least once. It a lot of fun...

There was a ferris wheel for the children and you can take pictures with Santa. There could have been a little improvement here. When we arrived at 700pm, most of the food was gone and there were a lot of pastries and dessert. The good thing was the bar throughout the place, so I had my share of drinks. There was a a mini concert as well. Overall was Meh and I left an hour later and bar hopped with my friends instead.

A Miracle on El Paseo is easily head and shoulders above every other festival I have attended. Part of El Paseo is blocked off for the event, which included music, appetizers (both passed and available for pick-up at tables) from nearby restaurants, and multiple open bars sponsored by Lu Lu's. There was also a "tree lighting" ceremony emceed by ice skating legend Dorothy Hamill. All of this for $50! Suggestions for improvement: the local youth dance club who performed during the event were, well, just not very good. There may have been some "porta potties" located somewhere, but if there were, I didn't see them, and could have used one. Would also have been nice if Ms. Hamill would have stuck around a bit after the tree lighting and worked the crowd a little, but she was whisked away almost immediately.
