The festival is a great spot for everyone! It is located in a residential area, with it also being…read morerural. Tickets are parking are bought online. Once at the entrance, you are scan your ticket and parking with a parking attendant. There is parking available on site, depending on the day and whether it is sold out. It's a good idea is buy parking ahead of time or you will be forced to park in the residential area. The farm is huge and everything is spread out, so expect a lot of walking. You are given a map of the festival. It can be a little hard to follow since not everything is cleared labeled outside the map. The farm has designated areas, such as the shops, food, and activities. Everything is on theme of lavender: food, drinks, and merch. Some that stood out to me is the matcha room, flower market, the blacksmith shop, and a coffee shop. There is 123 merch at some shops and local vendors selling their art work. Theres vendors selling candies, crochet, book marks, crystals, etc. Although the festival entry is at 5, most shops and vendors do not open until 6. Through the farm, there are workers around. However, some can be unfriendly. There are bathrooms and no porta potties! In the food area, there is pizza, sandwiches, carne asada fries, bbq. I ordered from the grill and got a steak sandwich (minus the bread) and they were very accommodating. I received a buzzer and my order did not take long. Dessert, there is ice cream, funnel cake, cheesecake, pies. There are a ton of beverage options besides coffee and matcha, like lemonade and alcohol. There is a stage for live music and lots of seating for eating. Music acts are listed online and on the map. There alot of spots for photo ops and there is also a Photo Booth! Such a great place, I've been to events at the 123 farm and I always enjoy it.

I'd say the sourdough over-powered the lavender in the donut but the flavors of cinnamon and lemon were excellent. Note- wear appropriate shoes, this is an outdoor farm atmosphere you'll walk a lot and much of the terrain is uneven and has wood chips. There is a small tractor tour that looks cute, we didn't ride. We walked all through the place. As the night falls, the decorative lights begin to illuminate the gardens and paths making it beautiful and romantic. During the lavender season, the tickets are a bit pricey alongside parking. The farm itself has numerous activities to do, picturesque moments, and different foods to try. My fiancé and I have attended the lavender festival three times already, so we knew what to expect. We avoided the foods we didn't enjoy last time, and tried new items. We ordered their carne asada tacos, croissant beignets, their peach sangria, and more. If you're planning to come here, I'd suggest eating beforehand, because the food is not good. Their tacos are dry; the meat and the tortilla feel like separate entities. Their croissant beignets on the other hand were absolutely phenomenal. It's exactly what you'd expect and it was amazing! Their drinks are good here, too. I had their lavender margarita which was absolutely perfect. Their peach sangria can be better. They sold bunches of lavender in their gift stores and you had opportunities to take photos with their lavender in the fields. It was a unique experience overall away from your usual city life. I don't think I'll come back again. I've been three times enough, and it's generally the same. I'd recommend trying it once to see what it's like, and that's all.

Many events for the holidays take place at 123 Farms and this summer holds space for the beautiful lavender field and activities! The signs leading to the location were easy to find and you can either purchase your tickets online, or at the gate before you enter the festival. I loved the food, as they really try to incorporate lavender into their items, such as lavender honey, ice cream, pizza, and even a smash burger! Although nothing tasted as strong as I expected, the food was worth a try! I ended up splitting a lot of it with my friends so we could try different things. Our favorite item had to be the pepperoni and ricotta sourdough pizza! It was amazing! I'd pass on the sourdough mini donuts. Some of my first timer tips: The petting zoo ends at 5pm, so make sure to visit early if you plan on going! Go on the tractor ride when it's cooler, as my friends and I were struggling to keep cool on the ride since it's summer. And be prepared to pay for the tractor ride as it is $8 a person. Bring a fan or hat, and sunscreen! I personally don't recommend wearing sandals because there's many dirt areas and fire ants in the lavender fields! All in all, I had such fun filled day here at 123 Farm. They did a really fabulous job with the decorations and food which truly felt like a festival that didn't run you for your money. As soon as we got to the parking area none of the staff knew what we were talking about. No one knew if we had parking paid, no one knew where the event was and they didn't know where to send us. I showed them the flyer and they let us park so we went in. We talked to about 5 different employees and then we found the front lobby one directed us to. Once we figured out where we had to go we decided to get some drinks. I went up to the first drink place near the parking lot. Once I got up to order you could tell the cashier was very unhappy. I ordered two alcoholic drinks. She immediately said if I was giving alcohol to someone else I was going to have the cops called on me. I told her no I just wanted to try two drinks. She rang me up and once I picked up my drinks she again said to me, if I see you giving this to one of your little friends you will be escorted out and the police called on me. If someone reads this review it was an older white lady with dreadlocks working the booth. I am 26 years old I don't know what she targeted me for looking young and I didn't have any girlfriends with me. After that experience, I found the farmer that was leading us on the strawberry field picking. She was amazing, you could tell the farmers had a ton of passion with what they did. It was amazing history about the farm and then we all picked fresh strawberries at the end. They also gave us free fresh lemonade.

We decided to order the Schiewnshaxe which was a baked pork shank served with a delicious sauerkraut. I don't like sauerkraut, but their sauerkraut was really tasty and slightly sweetened. The Schiewnshaxe was juicy, tender and full of flavor. We liked it so much we ordered it again for $13 a piece. There were other options of crazy hot dogs like Chicago style dogs and guacamole sriracha dogs to name a few. The dessert tents really caught my eye when I saw Lavender ice cream. Let me tell you... this is one of the best lavender ice cream I ever had! I wanted another scoop but I had to surrender from all the food we consumed. I am definitely coming back next year. This festival was family oriented with live music, games for both kids and adults and some kid activities for some fees. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Josh, whose smiling kindness, excellent knowledge, and extra-thoughtful offer to split a full slushie into two cups for the little ones in our group made the visit even better. The store is wonderful, too, with homemade jams, jellies, and canned fruits and vegetables, olive oils and vinegars ($8/tasting), rustic merchandise, and a backroom bar featuring homemade wines ($20/5-wine tasting or $12/glass). Go to the creek at the back of the property and listen to the water go burbling along over the rocks and through the brambles. We were there early (just short of 11 a.m.) so it wasn't too crowded. You can't go wrong with any of the apple farms. If you're looking for a specific type of apple, ask the staff and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction. Apple samples can also help determine what type of apples you want. Prices vary depending on the apple type, and a minimum weight requirement applies. At the heirloom Winesap orchard, there was a two-pound minimum. We enjoyed exploring and picking fresh fruit from the trees--a real treat for the whole family, especially the kids. Wear comfy shoes you won't mind getting dirty. The weekends can be terribly busy, so it's recommended to visit as early as possible or during the weekdays. Fall is also an excellent time of year to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do around the area as well--a perfect place to spend the day or half a day.
