Well today was the day. I cut my work day short, pulled some cash out of the atm after verifying its cash only and made my drive from Denton out to Sanger to give it a try. I was amazed at his low prices, I am delighted at portion sizes, and loved the good southern hospitality this owner presents!! The meat was so moist it was still dripping, the potato salad was a nice cool add on to a 105 degree day and the Mac and cheese, you can tell is not your standard box or store bought Mac n cheese! It is all insanely great and I might have just found my next "bad habit". If you all are in the area or passing through and he is open, get your cash out and support this small business! Chef and owner is cordial and knows how to make customers happy. The food I had was delicious. Brisket is tasty and tender. The turkey lived up to expectations, and is the best I've ever had. Juicy and full of peppery smoke. Tater salad was decent, mac and cheese off the chain good. Creamy and rich like your grandma made. Definitely going back soon. Spread the word before this place makes the Texas Monthly top 50 and lines form.
