Our server was a young lady named Lauren. More on Lauren shortly. This was not our first trip to Babe's Chicken House. But it had been a while, definitely too long, since we were here when we came years ago, we would usually order a chicken each. Now we are in our golden years and we can't eat that much, so we split one. But it was just as delicious as it has been each previous time! The Chicken was fried too absolutely perfection! The golden brown skin was seasoned perfectly and was very crunchy, just the way we like it. And the meat was hot and fork tender, Oh, I still prefer to use My fingers. The sides of green beans, corn, and mashed potatoes and gravy were off the hook! I'm not sure how they cook that corn, but they can come over to my house and cook it anytime! We both drank a sweet tea with lemon, very, very cold and lots of ice! About Lauren: Lauren is a local young lady who has a constant smile on her face. I never saw her not smiling while we were here. I watched her as she engaged in conversation with many people, both employees and customers, and she was an extremely pleasant young woman. But to my wife and I, she was an absolute, unfettered joy!
