BluSky is NOT trustworthy. BS gouged us after Hurricane…read moreFlorence. They charged us 4 times what other companies charged their customers. BS has no integrity. They do NOT honor their word. They told us work begin after contract was signed and deposit of $100,000 was made. BS had both by 4 March 2019. Yet, here it is eight weeks later and we had to find our own HVAC contractor to replace the units before any interior workcould begin. BluSky HVAC could NOT it us in for 5 to 6 weeks, which means their work wouldn't start until the end of May. How were they going to get all units done by June 7 if their HVAC subcontractor couldn't be done until end of May? Please BluSky male employees treated my sister as if she was a little lady that didn't understand the testarone laden construction world where only men that have been doing this know what's going on. They did NOT act with integrity. They lied, intentionally misleading us, when answering any question asked about work schedules, materials used, failure to a program manager that wasn't spread so thin that we might as well of not had a PM...The PM specifically told me that he had 18 projects to manage and that our project was #2 on his priority list. If we are #2, #3 through #18 are completely screwed. BluSky corporate offices are in Colorado and their contracts state that any legal action must be litigated in Colorado. SAVE YOURSELF FROM HAVING LITTLE TO NO RECOURSE....HAVE AN ATTORNEY REVIEW THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING IT. And, demand that a clause stating they will pay you a thousand dollars per day for EVRERY day over their stated date of completion. BluSky does NOT care about your project. They will, only VERBALLY, promise to be on time and do what they say they will do. BS told us the permits weren't issued until April 8, 2019. However, permits were NOT actually issued until April 18. I asked why it took six weeks to get permits? BS lied...they told us the Bldg permit office was at fault for delay. WRONG. BluSky failed to submit the permit application until April 8...the date they stated the permits were granted. I asked why didn't you apply for permits on March 4th when we paid you $100,000? No response, just excuses and hollow apologies that they will do better. They did NOT. They will NEVER take responsibility for their errors, mistakes and or omissions For example: their plumbers failed to cap supply lines after removing our 3rd floor showers. Had BS cared enough to at least tell us not to use the water or answer our requests to turn water back on we wouldn't have suffered an additional $15,000 in water damage. Did they take responsibility for causing this damage? No, of course not. They told us we had to file another claim with our insurance company. Really? This company will not provide you with a schedule, and if they do finally get around to sending a schedule.....they won't adhere to it. If you decide that you don't have any other choice but to hire these criminals, then insist on a DAILY schedule until they prove they can be trusted to do what they've contracted to do! We contracted with BluSky (BS) to repair our five beachfront vacation homes in Topsail Island NC. We signed contract on March 1, 2019. On March 4, we paid BS $100,000 to begin work. They promised verbally and in writing that they would be complete June 7, 2019. Also important to know we paid BS $354,000 to do restoration and remediation after Hurricane Florence. The above review is provided as a public service message to keep you from becoming another victim of this criminal enterprise. BluSky wont honor their promises. Please reach out to me before you make this mistake.

I manage several commercial retail & office buildings in Wilmington. We had a horrible sewer gas…read moreodor issue at one of our leased multi-story leased locations that other vendors could not determine the cause of. Disaster One was contacted and immediately jumped on the job by sending out a team to determine the source of the odor and rectify the cause. And they did all this without disrupting the tenant's business operations. A big thumbs up from this property manager!
