At the time of purchase, I also paid for shipping and provided the owner with my shipping information so that my items, along with another individual's purchase, could be shipped to my home. Unfortunately, several weeks have now passed and I have not received the items we purchased. In addition, I have not received any shipping confirmation or tracking information regarding the order. I have attempted to contact the business by calling the phone number listed, but I have not received a return call or any communication regarding the status of the shipment. The lack of response and follow-up has been very disappointing. As a business owner myself, I place a high value on professionalism, communication, and integrity when serving customers. Based on this experience, there appears to be a significant lapse in both customer service and business integrity. Customers should be able to trust that purchases will be fulfilled and that communication will occur if there are delays or issues. At this point, both the other purchaser and I are prepared to dispute the charges with our financial institutions and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if the matter is not resolved promptly. I sincerely hope this situation can be addressed and corrected soon. However, based on my current experience, I would encourage others to exercise caution when making purchases that require shipping.

Even the neighborhood around the cultural center is worth a meander. The freedom trail of historic sites and the cute shops are so fun. We definitely learned a lot - and we're Floridians. As a history enthusiast, I decided to spend my birthday enriching myself with local history that has not been talked about. The trolley tour does have this museum on their list of stops so it's easy for the average tourist or local. I did drive and they have a small parking lot in the front that's easily accessible. The museum was a former school for African Americans from the 1900's until the segregation which was only 60 plus years ago. The museum ranges from the Transatlantic slave trade to the Civil Rights era. The exhibits are very telling and informative with pictures and donated pieces from different time periods. The staff member I connected with, Jean, was amazing to speak with. I'm so proud this gem is getting recognition and acknowledgement from the city. It was also great to see locals from the Lincolnville area stop in to look for past classmates or relatives from the archived photos. Also, I was surprised to see my family history connected to this museum as my childhood pastor Rev. Thomas A Wright staged one of the first sit ins in St Augustine. He formed "the Gainesville 3" who integrated the Gainesville High, which one of the three students was my Auntie Angel. This is why I love history - to see that meant so much to me because these stories are untold and we NEED this center and platform to continue to spread awareness about our rich heritage.

Tucked away in the middle of nowhere in Green Cove Springs, we drove from Jacksonville to see the…read moreold Jeeps and military tanks for the day. Little did I know there was a military museum even here. It's small, but has so much to offer in way of history. There are sections of each military war from U.S. history. Each section has uniformed mannequins with real photos and paraphernalia from the era. There is also a war medical M.A.S.H. section. On this day they had actors in Russian, German and American regalia on the "battlefield ", giving History lessons of different wars. The information was deep and they made it interesting with the tools of war, tanks, bunkers and communications devices. On the Jeep side( why I went), several old jeeps were on show and several vendors set up to sell old Jeep parts. It was a beautiful thing.#itsajeepthing. This is the first year for this powwow and it seems like they're off to a good start. We've been…read moreneeding another powwow in Northeast Florida instead of relying on having to cross the Georgia-Florida line to attend the nearest one. I usually dance at the local powwows, but this past weekend I was not able to. My mother wanted to go check this powwow out and dance so I rode down with her to the Clay County Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs where the powwow was being held. We got there about 30 minutes on Black Friday and there were quite a few spectators there. We met up with some friends, got our chairs set up, and were ready to watch the dancers. One of the drum groups was local from Green Cove and the other drum group came down from Pennsylvania. The amount of dancers and spectators increased by maybe triple on Saturday, so that was great for everyone. The grounds had indoor bathroom facilities, an ATM (charges $3.50 fee), plenty of vendors, tomahawk throwing, arrow shooting, Aztec dancers, flute playing, and a nice row I like to call Food Row: traditional powwow food such as indian tacos, fry bread and american food such as burgers, fries, snow cones, kettle korn, and lemonade. I brought my boyfriend home some pumpkin fry bread which he really liked. Myself, I partook in some of Gregg's Seafood & BBQ. He must've been the most popular food vendor there as he always had quite a few people ordering from him. They have frog legs, seafood boil, fried and boiled shrimp, fried wings, etc. I had a taste of my Mom's shrimp and man, it was amazing. I got some of the seafood boil which came with crawfish and I was in heaven. The vendors were pretty diverse in what each one carried. From powwow supplies, flutes, shawls, jewelry, bows and arrows, arrowheads, knives, beadwork, moccasins, you name it. I ended up spending a lot of time at one booth and bought a pair of unique earrings, two bags of loose tea, and a little bundle of sage. I was happy. I hope that they will keep this powwow going as I'd definitely will keep coming back.

ABT's National Training Curriculum aims to assist beginning through advanced teachers in training dance students to use their bodies correctly, focusing on kinetics and coordination, as well as anatomy and proper body alignment. Artistically, the National Training Curriculum strives to provide dance students with a rich knowledge of classical ballet technique and the ability to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance. The director/owner was trained as a ballet dancer in Cuba and has traveled the world as a professional. My daughter's technique improved significantly under his supervision. I would advise anyone who is serious about studying dance, and specifically ballet, to check out this studio. They also have excellent classes for adults!

One of my favorites were the Gourmet Aviator. I always have loved their food. Also there was a truck from San Francisco, California called Mozzeria. The food truck was a trolley kind of bus. I thought it was pretty cool. All and all I thought the event was successful, can't wait till next year.
