I still don't completely understand how I missed such a basic requirement, thinking my passport was valid for the better part of a year! I rushed online to research some kind of solution, believing I was simply f-ed, and Legal Passport was an option. I contacted them and worked with Paul, and the same day he had me on track to put my documentation and authorizations together, ship overnight to his courier team, an appointment at the regional agency for an urgent passport (I do not live in a state with an agency and would have had to flown to one, assuming I could get an appointment). I found out this disaster was the case on Saturday, had the documents with Paul's team on Monday evening, the passport processed completely by the government by Tues evening, and the passport in my hand on Friday with 5 days to spare. Really incredible. I have read reviews that Paul is rude or otherwise unprofessional. This was not my experience. He can be sharp, but it is because he wants perfect execution of what you need to put together and send so that there are no hiccups and you receive your passport. Every hang-up will be a delay and reduce your chances. He is not a magician - the government can simply take a long time or have an issue with something minor that you missed. He was extremely responsive to me on call and email and took sometimes 8 calls from me in a day. I also imagine he is dealing with a ton of very stressed people looking for an instant fix to an issue. Paul and his team helped me avoid what would have been an absolute catastrophe both financially, emotionally, familial-y. Thank you so much to you and your team. I highly recommend Legal Passport.

Travis came by early afternoon & I figured we had 90 min of work ahead....nope - he dumped all my smaller boxes & carts into their big bin - took it to their truck & dumped it in - and 20 seconds later it's shredded. And Travis was great to work with - we had shred piles in 3 buildings and to reach one he had to pull his bin up a walk, in this miserable heat, frankly I wouldn't have blamed anybody for complaining a bit - but everything with Travis was 'no problem', he was pleasant and a hard worker - the entire process took less than 30 minutes (and doesn't it feel great to get rid of accumulated shredding?!!) Everyone at the office was helpful and pleasant to work with, too AND Shred Instead is significantly less expensive - we paid less than $400 - the more famous named places (I got 2 other quotes) would've charged $540 and close to $600 for same amount of material!!

The lid takes some finesse and getting used to, but it's easy once you have the hang of it. CompostNow works with a large-scale family-run composting facility here in NC, so you can compost a whole slew of things you couldn't do in a home bin/heap (meat, oils, bones, dairy, citrus peels, "compostable" cups and forks, etc.). Between food and candy-making, we've diverted 1-2 bags of trash a week for a 3-person household. $25/month for weekly pick-up.
