They specialize in massage and now even have classes in pilates,tai chi, meditation and yoga which were not originally available when they opened. I was lucky enough to to have a few sessions when pregnant on my feet -- or reflexology and I found it was the only thing that really helped the general malaise --- Since then I am a believer !! I have tryed all sorts from craniology to osteopathy for a little general health MOT , but reflexology always come out on top. I recently was treated to a gift of reflexology at the center with "jo" and I am still hooked -- It is the strangest thing it is so potent -- I guess we forget are feet are working hard all the time and are really stressing out sometimes!! I highly recommend if you just need a tune up or are feeling a little under --go for the foot treatment at Holistic Health --works everytime.

She recognised that I had quite a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck, and worked hard at them to decrease the pressure I was feeling. I've never had a massage that was so "medical," if that makes sense -- she asked numerous questions, and really seemed to care about my wellbeing. I wasn't sure about acupuncture at first, and told her I only wanted a massage, but she put a few needles in my back at the end of my hour-long session, and I found it really calming. I actually ended up committing to five more acupuncture sessions, which she recommended to treat my back. The second appointment I had with her, she actually arranged for a chiropractor friend, Andre, to work on me -- I'd not had chiro before, but I felt so much better after walking out of there! It was a bit challenging as I had to work on my breathing, but I've found myself standing a lot straighter since being stretched out. I'd definitely recommend seeing Chi if you have any aches and pains -- while a standard massage is relaxing, her technique and acupuncture is incredible. Just try and ignore that you're tucked away in a box-like room above a tanning salon, and you'll feel so relaxed and better for it. The location is amazing, however -- really close to Selfridges.

As is the case with the Massage Centre. Booking was easy. I popped in one day and was able to get an appointment soon - the next day if I wanted. The space is clean and relaxing unlike other spas in the area (South Beach, Luminis (fka Dove Spa)) where the spa is loud and hectic and, god for bid, the therapy rooms are located below street-level and the constant creaking of floor boards completely ruins any therapy you are paying your hard earned cash for. My therapist was knowledgeable, used appropriate pressure, and provided me with stretching techniques to help reduce the stiffness and tension in my upper back. So, all of this was great. The other great thing about my therapist was that she did not pressure me to book massages every two weeks or even every month. She had a brain on her shoulders and understands how expensive a two-week massage regimen wold be. I mean, wouldn't we all get massages every two weeks if we could afford it? I bet Kim Kardashian gets a massage daily but you know what? I'm not Kim Kardashian. I'm just a normal person with bad posture from banging away on the computer writing Yelp reviews all damn day. Nothing ruins a relaxing experience more than being made to feel bad about not treating your body awesomely by getting massages every two weeks. She then changed her story and said the bank refused the transaction..which again is absolutely not true..as I have a receipt and verified the completion of the transaction (and have proof) on my account. I could understand calling someone if there is an issue, but she was aggressive and when I told her that there was no discrepency on my end- she called me a "liar and accused me of fraud." I am not even sure what that means, but it is certainly not an experience I would recommend for anyone. AVOID!

She helped me achieve good health. Dr Lily spends time with her patients and shares information in a way that is easily understood. Dr Lily is highly knowledgeable, an excellent diagnostician, and she deeply cares about her patients and does whatever is necessary to help them. I always felt that I was in the best hands regarding my health.

For me - I just had a knot that needed to be kneaded and they took care of it in the 20 minute option. There is no appointment just walk in only, we didn't have to wait long maybe 15 minutes. They also have 10 minute options and up to an hour. They also do foot massages other than back. I will be coming back whenever I can!

The front area has loads of massage items from small to large, cheap to costly. It also has, a bit curiously, yoga mats and mat bags for sale. I waited two minutes before being led to a massage chair and explained I've been having a lot of problems in my right shoulder and neck and general tension in my shoulders. The massage therapist definitely worked on these areas competently. Having expressed specific concern about these areas, I didn't receive any wussy relaxation massage, which I appreciated. I only paid for ten minutes because I'm cheap, so now eight hours later the pain in my shoulder doesn't feel much different. The fact that the prices for services from 30 to 60 minutes here are comparable to those at salons/spas with more private and calming atmospheres wouldn't make me eager to return for a more lengthy service. That is, unless I get a hankering for a ten-minute rub on a whim. Plus, ten whimsical ten-minute backrubs will get you one free. Bonus points to Walk In Backrub for the loyalty card.

I am ranking this as three stars on the grounds that I walked up and down, in and out of Whitgift looking for Dr. TCM only to discover it was in the back of The Chinese Herbal Medicine Shop. That's perfectly fine, but it wasn't anywhere on their website or voucher, nor was it relayed to me when making the appointment or (more importantly) when I called twice from inside Whitgift because I couldn't locate them. The atmosphere: Not nice. Acupuncture and massage are done in back rooms (think mop closet and storage) with a massage table and a few Chinese medicine posters up. If you want sterile and clinical, this isn't the place. If you want relaxing, this isn't the place. If you want £12 acupuncture, this is the place. The acupuncture: Standard. I've had much better and I've had not as good. It was effective. The massage: Very good. I would go back just for this. At the end of the 10 minutes I paid an additional £28 for 30 more minutes. The therapist (a different person from the acupuncturist) was skilled at deep tissue and acupressure. If you are going with a prepaid voucher be prepared for a heavy pressure sale at the end for acupuncture packages. Not the best ending to what should be a relaxing experience, but on a £12 voucher I didn't expect to not hear a sales pitch.

Since under New Management from last Spring to now, all the Doctors and Therapists who have treated me, have been 100% professional at their application of each of my treatments I received there. Please all old regular and new customers look at their own website, that fully details their treatments they offer, or just call in their shop to enquire about their Chinese Medicine Herbs and alternative therapies they offer to help with so many health ailments and conditions which are not fully be sorted out by other well established ways and methods under the National Health Service or else where.
