Because of the unclear charges (their terms contradict what they will ask you to agree to in an email quote), I remained respectful and asked for my deposit to be refunded (which I paid only the day before) but was told to "go to court KAREN". I took their advice, and the court ruled in my favour in November. This could have been avoided by Range Relocations communicating more clearly about their VAT charges and, when a customer raises a reasonable query, Range Relocations could engage respectfully and issue refunds when there is a reasonable and fair reason. I was out of pocket and had to rearrange a move at short notice, as well as having to deal with the small claims court. I would recommend avoiding Range Relocations or, if you have to use them, spend time carefully comparing what they ask you to agree to (by phone and email) with their terms and conditions. If you happen to misread or misunderstand anything, be prepared for poor customer service and for Range Relocations to take every opportunity to retain any payments you have made.

They lied about the hourly charges, and once moving day arrived, they suddenly changed the pricing for extra hours despite the fact that I had called beforehand to confirm all details. Not once did they mention needing a parking permit, yet when their truck received a ticket, they made us pay for it. On top of that, they broke our TV during the move. The so-called "insurance" they offer does not cover your belongings, which they conveniently disclosed only after the damage was done. Their team took no responsibility, showed no care, and provided no support. If I can give you one piece of advice for your move: do NOT use this company. They lure you in with a cheap, clickbait price, then shift the costs once you are already locked in and unable to fight back.
