I second MarkJ's review, great reliable shuttle service for all us parents with out of state students flying into Memphis, TN The shuttle to Ole Miss takes around an hour and a half to get to Oxford. During Thanksgiving break we booked the Ole Miss school shuttle service and it was a HUGE disappointment. We had to call and e-mail several times and finally heard back. This is with the school, you'd think they would care more about their customers/students welfare On the way back we booked on-line with with shuttles2go and were pleasantly surprised at the ease and professionalism They were on time, sent follow-up emails and texted my son when he landed. 9/2018 update: Good news. My bank reviewed all evidence/docs provided & granted me full credit! Case closed! 7/2018 update: I've gotten a number of hostile emails from the business owner since my leaving this review & filing a refund claim with my bank. His comment on my original review below is mostly a copy & paste from one of the emails. It's filled with lies & vitriol. The subject of his email was "Your not right." I rarely take time to write bad reviews. It has to be an egregious experience for me to do so. In this update, I'll only address his lie about weather. None of the delays were due to weather. The weather was fine. I'm disturbed & unsettled by how this business is conducting itself. I asked him to stop emailing me (because I realized he was trying to intimidate me & not to ethically resolve anything) yet I'm still getting emails from his business account. I wish I was making this all up but I'm not. Worst experience I've ever had w/ a small business. -- My most recent experience with Shuttles2go was horrible. Here's a rundown: I booked my ride with them about 24 hours before I needed to be picked up. I was away for the weekend visiting friends/family for my birthday. The morning I was scheduled to get an evening ride from Shuttles2go, I noticed a hostile text message from them with this: "Why was this reservation not made 48 hours in advance? What's with the last minute reservations? Director of Operations Jay Austin." Due to his tone, I texted him back asking him to let me know if he needed to cancel my reservation. And that I'd need to know soon so I could make arrangements to get home safely that night. I didn't realize a 48 hour rule was in place & the online system allowed me to book even though it was just 24 hours prior. Responding an hour later to my texts, he said they didn't cancel my booking but that next time follow the 48 hour rule. Moving on to the issue with my flight & me ultimately being left to fend for myself by Shuttles2go, my flight into Memphis was delayed due to air traffic control & FAA slowing the air traffic landings at the airport I was flying out of. Both things out of airline's control. A 1 hour flight delay became a 2 hour delay & then a nearly 3 hour delay. I promptly texted Shuttles2go, as soon as I got each word about a delay. The delays pushed my arrival time in MEM, closer to 12AM so that meant I had to pay $50 extra for the now late night ride from MEM to Oxford. I couldn't afford it but I didn't have other immediate options. My flight delayed a bit more waiting for the pilot to arrive, so my MEM arrival became closer to 1am. I received a text msg from Shuttles2go's automated system: that due to my flight was arriving at 12:53am "outside of our operating hours, we have placed you on the 6:00A shuttles from Memphis." Another text said they refunded me $35 and I'd have the same driver at 6am. In this moment, it occurred to me that they were going to leave me, a woman student traveling alone, stranded overnight. In the short time I had right before my flight took off, I quickly shared what happened with Oxford, MS friends and family far away and I was able to secure a ride from a classmate of mine. In response to his rebooking texts, I said I got a ride from a friend so I didn't need to use the ride credit being offered for a 6AM ride. I also said I wouldn't be using Shuttles2go services again. He responded with "Fine. it's not our fault you came in during non business hours. We have code this as a no show Therefore we will not be doing refunds and we have blocked your account" I also got a text message from the automated business # with this: "Your blaming us for YOUR airline issues. we have blocked this account and we have code you as a now show, no refunds will be issued." In these texts, I said the flight delay also wasn't my fault, at that hour my safety was a concern, & I didn't feel comfortable supporting a business that would just leave me stranded. I also pointed out that I didn't actually request a refund and I also didn't blame anyone for flight delay. I informed him they didn't need to worry about me contacting them or using their services. In the past, my text and phone exchanges he's had a certain hostility & rudeness. As a student who works jobs to support herself & doesn't get financial help from anyone else, I used this company because of the discounted student rate. So I sort of ignored his rudeness because of that need. I realize now that dealing with his negative energy was never worth it. Ultimately happened was that my safety was put at risk last night. I'd never recommended Shuttles2go to anyone moving forward. I paid for a service I didn't receive, on a rough travel day, & was treated poorly. Writing this review took a lot of time & energy I didn't want to have to expend. But if I was a potential customer looking for a car ride options, I'd want to know about an experience like this so I could avoid potential disappointment. read more

We arranged this shuttle service to pick up our son, who is in his first year of college out of state, at Ole Miss. He was flying back to school after coming home for Thanksgiving. His flight got into Memphis at 10:00 p.m. and the shuttle was scheduled to pick him up at 11:00 p.m., which would get him to his dorm past midnight. We were a little concerned about everything coming together, given the late hour. But they picked him up right on time and delivered him to his dorm safely.
