i'll start with the positives: easy parking, clean facility, and friendly staff. unfortunately, my experience overall was very disappointing. during the massage, the therapist left the room twice, and at one point a man knocked on the door, both of which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. more importantly, the massage itself was not what I requested. I booked a deep tissue massage, but the session consisted mostly of stretching and pressing rather than actual deep tissue work. I left feeling unsatisfied and confused, especially given the high rating of this place. I'm not sure if I just had an off experience, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return. read more

First time getting a massage. Unfortunately the pressure was too strong and painful. I just wanted a soft massage that felt good throughout but it wasn't that. I don't want to give a low review star wise because I don't feel right when I feel like they are doing their best and are kind. But I am sad that it wasn't what I was hoping. There was weight and pressure that was put on my body that I was not expecting. I think it would be good to ask clients more about their bodies and the type of pressure they would like before the massage started. I guess it's all a learning process for everyone. read more

Definitely DO NOT JUDGE this book by its cover! Upon entering, the place feels nice, calm, and cozy. I booked a couples massage, and while the room was pretty small (and, honestly, a little janky-looking, lol), I stayed optimistic because of the great reviews. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and the massage itself felt amazing. I do wish my therapist had focused a bit more on the specific pain areas I mentioned, but overall, she did a great job, and the stretching was a nice bonus. The Mr. was so relaxed he went into a deep sleep--snoring and all! That said, there were a few things to note. I had to adjust the face rest to breathe comfortably, and there was hair on the sheets when I laid down, which made me really hope they had been changed. Also, being close to a busy street, you can hear some traffic noise. The music in our room seemed to be the same short melody on repeat--it would have been nice to have a flowing playlist or even ocean sounds to drown out the outside noise. Prices are very reasonable. I booked online for $140, but we both got deep tissue, which had an upcharge I wasn't aware of until checkout. Just something to keep in mind! They also don't offer water or tea after, so bring your own. This isn't a fancy spa like Burke Williams or DuBunne, but if you just need a solid, relaxing massage without the full spa day commitment, it's perfect. I've passed this place for years. It's very small and unobtrusive, you'll miss it if you're not actually looking for it. On Sunday, after weeks of strenuous workouts, I really needed a deep tissue massage. While sitting in church, I went to Yelp and found Siam Wala. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Aya at the front desk. I explained my problem areas and sat in a tiny reception area. At 2:20pm, I was the only one waiting. I was lead to a tiny room and given time to undress and prepare. My masseuse, Lily, then got to work. She proceeded to give me the "deepest" deep tissue massage I have ever had. EVER! I must admit, I grimaced a few times, but I knew I needed it. I left feeling amazing! I will definitely be returning. Couple of things to be aware of: 1. There's a sign in the bathroom that warns you not to put ANYTHING in the toilet: seat covers, tissue, et al. Nothing that doesn't come out of your body. As someone who's had plumbing issues.....respect. 2. My 90 minute massage was $125. There's a sign at the pay port that recommends $30-$40 for a tip. Yikes! I had planned to leave $25, but I gave in, she was really very good. So with tip and (tax?) the total was $162.50. Still way less than Burke Williams and 1000x better, IMO. 3. I came in from the back and there was no way for me to even approach their parking lot, so I parked at a closed business across the street. If the business would have been open, it may have been more challenging. read more

I've been to the Hawthorne location and was super satisfied with my experience there so I decided to try this location since it's closer to me. First, they have a decent sized parking lot. Walking in it smelled amazing and everything was very clean. I came in a bite earlier than my appointment time and they were able to see me right away. I got the hot stone massage. The massage itself was nice, but very different from my experience at the other location. She was communicative and her massage was very relaxing. I did wish there was a bit more pressure, but other than that it was a great experience. read more

OMG if I'm a very picky person since I've been with a deteriorating disc and in so much pain, currently under chiropractor and Fisiotherapy and always no matter what I can not remember how is life without constant pain til now! I'm a regular at Siam Wala at the Crenshaw office. Getting into the tiny parking lot is kind tricky since it's in a busy intersection. However, it's worth it for these services. I was trying to find a massage spa in Torrance. I've tried a few, but it didn't really meet my expectations until I came across this one while browsing through Yelp. The massage style is Thai. If you want to be stepped on, this is where to go! However, they do ask you first if it's okay. If you haven't gone this route before, it's totally worth it. My thighs and back really felt the effects of it. I was apprehensive at first, but you also have professionals doing this and I felt safe the whole time. I used the jasmine therapy oil upgrade and it was pleasant! The atmosphere is simple, yet calming. We had Disney piano covers for our background noise. Most massage places use generic new age music, but this was actually a nice change of pace (and I'm a Disney fan, so I approve!). The price is an amazing value. You get the same quality of massage as you would if you went to a five star hotel. By far the very best massage I've ever had. I had the 90 minute deep tissue massage with hot stones and the entire experience was AMAZING. The masseuse was so sweet and had the perfect pressure (I prefer a harder pressure) and such a great touch. I really enjoyed the light stretching as a part of the massage. I went with my best friend and we had the "couples" massage and she said it was the best massage she had ever had also. I've seen comments in other reviews about the room being chilly but the bed pad is a warmer and I wasn't cold in the slightest. I imagine the room being air conditioned is for the benefit of the masseuses who are really working hard and makes it more comfortable for them. I will absolutely be back!! I was referred to Siam Wala by a friend of mine, so I decided to give it a try. I usually go to the Chinese massage places, which are relaxing but it never leaves me as happy and satisfied as this place. I called for an appointment an hour before and my massage therapist was Nina. She is incredibly gifted with her hands, and she can feel every knot in my entire body. I'm a nail artist, so my upper body and hands are always in pain. Nina got out every knot and stretched me where I needed most, and I've never felt this relieved in my life. This was THE best massage I ever had hands down. I have had some really great massages but I am a huge fan. The space is not huge but very intimate and extremely clean and pleasant with just a couple of rooms. The access is easy with plenty of parking at the door. Finally found a place where a proper deep tissue massage is given! I went here for the first time today after seeing good reviews on Yelp and I am very happy to say that I will be coming here often. I work physical labor and constantly stretch and need regular deep tissue massages but most places don't apply pressure or dilly dally during the massage. This place is not one of those places. I went in and the establishment was very clean and very cozy. I got a deep tissue massage from Ann who did exactly what I told her I needed. I told her i felt like i had a stiff neck and she dug deep into my traps and back where it turns out i had HUGE knots lol she got straight to work when she came in and applied deep pressure in the right areas of my muscles. she definitely knew what she was doing and for the full hour worked on me non stop. I went to Siam Wala spa today for my first time and I really enjoyed my massage. They have a parking lot which is really nice and convenient. The front office staff was nice and so was my massage therapist Anna. I've had a lot of massages before and Anna definitely knew what she was doing and what muscle groups to get into. I felt very respected during my massage as well, which is always a big thing whenever you trust someone who you don't know Rubbing your body. It was a little noisy because I think the doors are thin and I was in a room on the street side, but other than that, we would definitely recommend this place and would go back again. read more

We also booked a later appointment in the day due to childcare limitations, so having later slots worked well for us. Had an amazing Thai-Swedish combo massage by Daisy. She used the perfect amount of pressure, worked my problem areas and I felt very relaxed afterward. I'd hesitate to come back right away though, only because I found it a little hard to breathe at times wearing a mask and lying face down while she walked on my back. They check your temperature upon check-in. I had a 90 massage with Pang and she was absolutely wonderful. I let her know where my specific concerns were and she was able to focus on them throughout the session. The massages are held in outdoors in their parking lot, but don't worry - there is privacy. The massage was really relaxing and all my knots were loosened up that you won't really pay attention to the street sounds or of cars passing by. Even though there is still relaxing spa music playing, your massage will be SO GOOD that the outside noise will fade away. They're offering discounts for healthcare heroes! This review is long overdue! I've had a membership with Siam Wala for at least 5 years.. maybe even more. The massages are fantastic, I always got the Thai combo. I've tried many different masseuses here throughout the years and though some of my favorites are no longer there, they still have great ones. My husband and I particularly like Ann and Pang - we have probably received massages from them the longest and they are fantastic and consistent. I more recently tried Amma and Ray and they are also great. Ying, the owner, is super sweet and overall, they just have great customer service. Unfortunately, I moved out of state and am really missing the massages at Siam Wala. Highly recommend getting your massages here! read more
