I got my cat Myshka a year ago from Eleonora, and it was the best decision I've made. My cat is now one years old and six month, and she's brought us so much joy. She's a beautiful, well-tempered, and a healthy girl. Eleonora made the adoption process very easy, and was great at communicating with me. This was my first time ever getting a cat, let alone from the breeder. I plan to adopt again, and I recommend her!

We could not have gotten a better cat! She is beautiful, loving, funny and smart. Eleonora was responsive and informative and easy to work with.

    Siberian Beauty NOT TICA certified
    Chantal S.

Siberian Beauty is NOT TICA certified (see pic), lies about her phone number, and the owner, Eleanora, is untrustworthy & unreliable. I emailed w/Eleanora for five days straight. Jumped through all her hoops, bought all necessary pet supplies, made room for the new kitty, only to find out on the day we were supposed to pick up our cat that her partner Sold it. I told her we'd bring cash so she didn't ask for a deposit, nor provide any way (paypal/Venmo) to pay a deposit. This obviously isn't about $50, but about her being rude, unprofessional & inconsiderate. She refuses to provide her phone number (the one listed above is false) so there is no way to communicate w/her other than wait for her to deign to get back to you. Apparently she doesn't communicate w/her partner either, as one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. VERY disappointing & unprofessional. She has many negative reviews below, on Reddit, & on other sites, that state her cats have Congenital Heart Disease. The positive reviews say her website is nice but they haven't actually purchased a cat from her. Caveat Emptor. Eleanora will lead you on, waste your time, and burn you. Save yourself the hassle & disappointment & go with a reputable breeder from the TICA list below.

I beg of you. Do NOT adopt from this breeder. CONGENTIAL HEART DISEASE DIAGNOSED BY VETERINARY CARDIOLOGIST DR. EMILY CHAPEL. CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE: "Congenital heart disease may also involve a genetic or hereditary disorder, in which case the problem may develop in more than one kitten in the litter." (https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/heart-disease-cardiomyopathy-in-cats) September 2020 I signed the contract to adopt my baby Oliver and bring him home in the middle of October 2020. I had him with me for around a year before in February 2022 he went into congestive heart failure. He was diagnosed with CONGENITAL heart disease. Specifically Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. There is no cure or treatment. I had to say goodbye to Oliver March 27th. He was only a year and 8 months old. It was traumatizing and heart breaking. Now, Siberian Beauty advertises that theprides themself on breeding healthy cats. Not only do they do that but they are registered with TICA. Which is absolutely horrifying. The amount of trauma Oliver and I had to endure because Eleonora Bazekina, the owner of Siberian Beauty, is carelessly breeding cats with congenital heart disease. I contacted her and told her the situation and she sent me an email back gaslighting me. She asked how I was to know if Oliver was diagnosed with a heart disease? As if I had not spent over a month and $10,000 trying to stabilize my baby boy. Oliver visited over 8 different veterinarians and one cardiologist who performed not one but two echocardiograms and confirmed the thickening of the left ventricle of the heart and monitored him only progressively worsening. I'm currently working on getting the TICA to stop supporting her. I hope that I raise awareness about Heart Disease in cats. As well as making sure no one has to go through what Oliver and I had to go through. It was the hardest time in my life because I thought I was going to be getting 20 years with him, instead I got one year. I would never take back having Oliver in my life but if I could save someone else the pain of what I've experienced I would. If your cat is to become ill with a CONGENTIAL disease the owner/breeder will do NOTHING but exhaust you and gaslight you. They will not hold themselves accountable. Nothing. Do not support them.

I am so impressed with Siberian Beauty Cattery. The kitty we got from them is simply perfect on every level. They already had taken care of microchip and most vaccinations by the time we picked her up at 4 months. She was litter box trained and knew how to groom herself perfectly. The owner of the cattery provided us with excellent communication and stellar customer service. She guided and mentored us on the best possible care for our kitten. We are so pleased with our experience. Highly recommend Siberian Beauty Cattery to everyone.

Eleonora is awesome! She knows everything there is to know about the breed, and was a delight to work with when getting our boy. We've had Baron now for almost a year and he's truly the most amazing cat in the world. We are looking into getting another through Siberian Beauty. Best breeder in SoCal!

    Ivan Drago
    Mitch G.

I have two big, beautiful and healthy Siberian Forest Cats from Siberian Beauty Cattery. Ivan Drago will be six years old on March 29. He is a black golden mackerel tabby. He weighs almost 16 lbs. He sits, presents his paw, gives me a high five all for treats. He opens the kitchen cabinets, both floor and upper, when he wants to hide. He is amazingly smart and affectionate, He loves to be groomed, purring constantly. He loves to play and loves to cuddle. Ivan's half brother is Apollo Creed. He will be two years old on May 2. He's almost as big as his brother. He is mostly black, although he has some grey on his belly. Ivan taught his brother how to open all of the cabinets. Both of them love to go for walks on harness and leads. The most important thing about Ivan and Apollo is that neither one has ever been sick, not even for one day. They have never been to the vet for anything other than a check-up or a vaccination. I highly recommend Siberian Beauty Cattery. 5 Stars.all the way.

1 week after we brought home Momo!
    Christopher L.

We brought home our Siberian, Momo, home from Siberian Beauty last year on Dec 11, 2021. I wanted to wait before writing a review for Siberian Beauty and I feel like I finally am able to write a fair review of my experience. THE GOOD - our cat! Momo was adorable when we brought her home and over time, she has become more cute. Her coat is beautiful and lush. We see other Siberians online but not all of them have as thick of a coat as her. As you can see in the pictures, her mane is very dramatic and we love it. Regarding her personality, Momo is curious, smart, and docile. - We were very anxious about bringing her home because we live in a 1bd/1ba apartment and already had another cat. We were worried that the both cats would be stressed but this was completely not the case. Despite our attempts to keep the cats separate, within a single day, Momo was already following our resident cat around. She became attached to him super fast and the whole introduction was a breeze. - Momo is also very smart. We try to teach both of our cats tricks and Momo is always able to learn them first. So far, we have taught them to sit, stand, shake, and spin. - Momo is very good with being handled. Although she doesn't particularly like being carried, she never scratches or bites. She loves sleeping on her back like a little human and has no problems with you rubbing her belly. The only thing we wish was different with Momo is that we wish she was more affectionate and less skittish. I think because she bonded with our cat before us, she is less attached to humans. She is very independent although she has recently begun to sleep in the bed with us more often. THE NOT SO GOOD - the buying experience. Communication and organization can be improved. Eleonora was always quick to respond, but sometimes it felt like we were not on the same page. There is room for improvement when it comes to communicating: - when and which litters are available - who the dam and sires are - when the kittens in those litters will be ready to go home - exactly which kittens are part of that litter. I don't believe the Siberian Beauty website is updated frequently and the pictures of kittens are from past litters, not current ones. The only time you see the actual kittens is when Eleonora emails you with pictures. The picture can be of one specific cat or a litter and at that point you can either accept the cat in the picture or pass and wait for the next time you get emailed. I understand that Siberian Beauty is a small cattery, but my sister was in contact with a breeder for a golden doodle around the same time and her experience was completely different. For example, she was notified shortly after the litter was born and each puppy in the litter was given a name. As the puppies grew up, she regularly received photos, videos, and even facetimed with her breeder to see the puppies. Because each puppy had a name, it was easier to identify them in pictures and the breeder was able to describe their personalities to her. On the other hand, once we selected our kitten, we were sent pictures one time and a video once over the course of 5-6 weeks. This was frustrating at times. We also were not able to visit the cats at all because of COVID precautions. ULTIMATELY, if you're looking for a Siberian kitten and you're in the Los Angeles area, I would still recommend Siberian Beauty. Once we had Momo in our arms, the communication issues became an afterthought. Bethany, who works with Eleonora, was also very good at communicating with us after we picked up the cat. I can't say my experience was perfect but you will fall in love with your Siberian once you get it!

Kiki sleeping on her favorite blanket-6 months old.

We bought our kitty about 7 months ago from Siberian Beauty. We couldn't be happier! The kittens are extremely well care for and it is evident that the breeder cares about the well being of the kittens first and foremost. Our Kiki has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Under the circumstances with COVID-19, we recently adopted a 3 month-old Siberian kitty from Siberian Beauty. Eleonora is the key contact at Siberian Beauty. She is passionate about finding the right families for her kittens and offers her extensive knowledge about the breed. Please know that she is not a commercial breeder that doesn't care about who will adopt animals. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of all of her kittens. I looked for Siberian breeders on the West Coast that continued their operation under the pandemic. It was not easy. Many of the breeder websites were not up to date; the majority of those places didn't respond to my inquiries. I finally found one breeder in Oregon but the wait list was 12-18 months. Under COVID, we didn't want to fly to another state. Amongst all of the places we had reached out, Eleonora quickly responded to our email. Siberian Beauty changed some of their policies to comply with the safety regulation under the pandemic. I needed clarification initially. When I spoke to Eleonora on the phone, I immediately knew that she genuinely cared about her litters and tried hard to find the right match for each kitten. In place of the visitors room under the normal circumstances, she mailed to us a pillow case that had been exposed to the litter. After we confirmed that we had no allergy reactions for several days, we moved forward to the adoption process. I don't know how many questions I sent over to Eleonora. She earnestly responded to each of those messages and helped me save money on food and vet bills. I cannot say enough about the wonderful temperament of our light orange beautiful Siberian kitten, which she picked for us! I assure you that Eleonora will be your life long parenting partner / adviser for your new four-legged family member. I literally kitten-napped the baby from his mom. It was our responsibility to follow all of her instructions and the results were amazing.

    Lazy Sunday

We love our beautiful, funny and particularly smart kitty, Luna. We are grateful to have had such positive experience with Siberian Beauty given the importance of adding a new member to our family. After contacting several places that we found online, Eleanora at Siberian Beauty was the only responsive and trustworthy person we felt comfortable with the process of finding our new pet. Within a month or so on the waiting list and seeing photos of a few kittens, our daughter saw Luna and knew she was the one. The day we picked up Luna, we met Eleanora and Beth in person and could tell that they are cat lovers. They gave us a list of supplies and a lot of advice for food, toys, litter, etc. When we needed a cat sitter for our 2 week summer vacation, Beth came to the rescue. She has cat sitted twice for us and there's no one that we could trust more to care for our cat. We just celebrated Luna's first year birthday and it has been nearly a full year from the day we brought her home. She's so healthy, well adjusted, loves people, and happy. And I really think that's because she was born and raised with love from birth.

Got my Brown Tabby Siberian Kitten from this cattery. I drove from San Francisco to Van Nuys, LA just to get the kitten. I do 100% recommend Eleonora and Bethany if you're looking for a Siberian cat.

    happy kitty!

There are truly no words to describe the beauty and temperament of their cats. A rare treasure and a once in a lifetime companion is what we found with Eleonora at this cattery. Our cat was well loved, well socialized and well trained and transitioned into our home with ease and grace. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

Ask the Community - Siberian Beauty

I saw on your website that you have to pay a 50$ fee then a 200$ fee, because of this do you still have to pay another additional fee for the cat itself or just those two fees?

The $50 fee is a waitlist deposit to get your name on the waitlist. When kittens are available you'll be contacted assuming it's your turn on the waitlist and if you would like to reserve a kitten it's an additional $500 reservation deposit.… Read more

She's unbelievably intelligent and obedient; while some of that is environmental, a lot of it clearly comes down to good breeding. Charles is excellent at what he does, and it shows in the quality and disposition of his puppies. The not-so-good: As other reviewers have mentioned, communication around timing can be a bit inconsistent. I completely understand that traffic and unexpected events happen, which is why I scheduled pickup specifically to accommodate his preferred timeframe. Despite knowing I had an evening commitment, he arrived more than 4 hours after the agreed-upon pickup time. A simple heads-up would have made a huge difference so we weren't left waiting around for so long, especially when we ourselves had to make a 1.5 hour long commute to meet him. Final thoughts: Charles truly seems like a wonderful person; I think very highly of him and his work. The only area that leaves something to be desired is punctuality, but otherwise he's fantastic. I would 1,000,000% recommend him!

First off, I want to say our new dog (Bella) is wonderful and is going to be a great pet. She is 7…read moremonths old and is starting to adjust pretty well to her new home. I want to give Charles credit for breeding/raising a beautiful pup and communicating well enough for us to learn about her and adopt her into our family. Now for the negative. We discovered 20-25 live ticks on Bella within 4 days of picking her up (picked her up on 4/11/20). We found ticks all over her body including her face, rear, and in between the pads on her paws. She had numerous red bite marks from ticks. We also found 2 fleas and discovered a substantial amount of flea dirt in her fur and on the fabric anywhere she had been sitting. We live in San Diego in a condo and she has barely been outside, staying on one area of grass and sidewalks. She very clearly did not pick up the full amount of ticks & fleas within a few days of coming home with us. After a trip to the vet for blood and fecal matter tests, the vet confirmed that she was positive for a parasite - Giardia. We paid quite a bit of money for Bella but it feels more like we rescued her from a shelter than a caring/attentive breeder. And quite honestly a shelter might have checked her more thoroughly for ticks and fleas before the transition to a new owner. Charles has communicated his sympathy and provided suggestions on treatment but the presence of ticks in this quantity on a puppy that he was selling is extremely concerning. I've asked Charles to cover the cost for one month of flea/tick treatment and the parasite treatment but he has not responded to these requests. He has not offered to cover any of her treatment and it's stunning that he wouldn't offer a small refund ($50-$100) for the flea/tick or parasite treatments. I'm hopeful this is a one-time issue but it leaves doubt about the care and attention the parent dogs are receiving. It also creates a lot of uncertainty since Charles is adamant about keeping customers away from the breeding area (his home). Our primary complaint is our new pup Bella was infested with ticks (and a few fleas) within days of adopting her, but we also were annoyed on the day we picked her up. We originally had planned to meet at 2:00 pm but on the morning of the exchange Charles asked if we could move it to 3:00 pm. We had no problem with that. We showed up a few minutes after 3:00 pm but after several texts and phone calls did not see Charles until about 4:30. Charles did call back once at 3:30 to say he was 20 minutes away but did not contact us when he arrived 40 minutes later. We found him, and the puppies, only when we noticed some other families holding puppies across the parking lot. As I said, I'm hopeful Bella's ticks and fleas are a one-time incident and Beachwood Canyon runs a clean, safe breeding operation but it certainly makes me doubt things more. It may be that since he mostly sells puppies he did not think to check her. I would like to think that is the truth BUT please make sure to do your research and ask ample questions.
