The brick and mortar new place is awesome! Brisket was melt in your mouth, friendly service and looking forward to returning!

Staying in Medford/Central Point for the night and this place was the only one that caught my eye. Although there arent many reviews I could already tell that this place is a hit. We drove there and parked on the side of the street. No one was at the window but there are instructions for contactless orders. There is a QR code that directs you to their online menu then you place your order. We waited in our vehicle because it was freezing outside. The food took quite a while but we didn't mind at all because we knew it was going to be delicious. Also the owner was the only person there working so we knew to be patient. After waiting in our truck we stepped out and there was a heater right next to the food cart. Im from Hawaii so I get cold super easy and that heater saved me from freezing to death! The owner is so nice and sweet!! He saw us standing by the heater and told us that our order will be done soon. I love love love his cleanliness! I noticed how he handles food and how it is stored. He is very organized and clean with his work. We ordered pork belly fried rice, brisket mac n cheese, and chicken mac n cheese. Everything tasted amazing but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the chicken mac n cheese. I honestly thought I wouldve loved the brisket more but the chicken was so juicy and seasoned well. Definitely recommend this place!!

This was WAY TOO MUCH FOOD! We had leftovers for sure, we could barely eat half of it. Oh my goodness. I'm really disappointed that I only recently discovered Sid's! I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I got the meatball sub for the boyfriend, the brisket sandwich for myself, and the mac and cheese with pulled pork to share, along with the potato salad. Sid also let me try the spicy ginger drink, stocked me up with homemade pickled cucumbers, and his jalapeño sauce. The boyfriend said his meatball sandwich was the best one he'd ever had. I had a bite and it was pretty amazing. The brisket sandwich was absolutely fantastic. It has a ton of flavor, and I added a little of the jalapeño sauce to give it a kick. The sauce isn't too hot and has some great flavor, too. I watched Sid make the mac and cheese from scratch in front of me. When we tried it, you could tell it was homemade. The taste of the cheesy gooey noodles mixed with the tanginess of the pulled pork... it was the perfect match. The spicy ginger drink hits your tongue and it's sweet and spicy and so delicious. Everything was absolutely wonderful, from the food, to the service, to talking with Sid about his travels with his wife. I look forward to watching Sid's business grow in Medford. I came for lunch today. Had some amazing Mac & cheese with melt-in-your-mouth smoked pork. I also tried the OMGinger drink and wrapped it all up with a cantaloupe mint popsicle... it was all so good. Just delicious. After work I decided to take my daughter down to get more popsicles. When we got there we ended up just getting some smoked chicken cheese steaks and tried the hibiscus drink instead... That's right twice in one day! Sid told us he's been there for about a year now... This has to be the biggest great food secret in Southern Oregon. It's seriously so good. It's a little tricky to find, not actually on Grape street but on the corner of Grape and Monroe. To top it off it's he's open until 10 most nights. If you don't try his food you're missing out for sure. I'm sad it's taken me this long to stumble across this place. I'll be back a lot for sure!

Killer creative bbq. Highly recommended. Japanese fried rice may seem like a strange option but it's so good.

Didn't really enjoy pulling this long hair out of my mouth like a fish line from the ocean to see what I've caught. Now granted this is unavoidable as I have worked in the food and service industry for most of my life and know it happens. What made me write this review is the fact that the people who handled my food were not wearing hats, hairnets or having their hair pulled up above the neck and ears which is a OR health code violation. I know that it could have been the end of their night, and they were done nearly done with their shifts or whatever, BUT rules are rules for a reason. Good luck with your business and if you can take anything away from this review: please put your hair up while on the clock. Cheers,

It was good, the spam slice was a bit thin and it was in the middle of the rice cube instead of on top but the taste, there was a light teriyaki sauce, was excellent. Only one type of musubi is available. Ideally, it should have a pickled turnip next to the meat, but many places skip that. Musubi can be made with chicken and/or egg instead of spam and in Japan, salmon is most often used. Cute server, but of course that's not relevant.

Some have their high points, and I'm a fan of several. While I also love the sit-down place down the street, (because it is easier to get to with the fam), no other place near Meddy makes tacos and tortas as good as this. You're not gonna get beer......and there's only a picnic table out front on the highway for "ambiance".....but if you want FOOD. The BEST food. And that want includes tacos, tortas, or a loaded burrito, then this is the place-hands down. The family that runs it puts a ton of love and care into what they do. The salsas are always fresh and just amazing. The handmade tortillas are what you have always wished for. The meat......well......just try and not fall in love with the carnitas or asada. I defy you. When they opened a couple years ago, the owner told me that he meant to be the best taco truck the Valley had. I smiled nicely, and said I was sure it would be good. But it's not just good. He has continually proven, over and over, that he and his family are up to the task. I literally eat lunch here at least once a week. In fact, I arrange my work schedule just to do it. Yeah.....it's THAT kinda good! I fear this truck ever leaving.....and my heart skips a beat when I see it has moved. (They take it home to clean and restock). One day, I will reminisce with the owner as he has a storefront somewhere-if that is their goal-about the best taco truck ever. Garcia's definitely made it.

Had a wonderful experience at my first time eating at Lucy's Taco Shop! I ate in their spotless…read moredining area (the restroom was immaculate too). They have a huge menu on display. There are 27 combo plates that include rice and refried beans. Most are bargain priced at $14.25 (only three were $17 for shrimp). I had a burrito bowl with carnitas. It was very tasty with a large portion of pork, pico de gallo, rice, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream topped with shredded lettuce and cheese. It was a lot to eat for $13. Portions are substantial and most patrons left with a box to take the remainder of their meals home. They have long hours from 7 am to 11 pm seven days a week. I noticed that they have an extensive breakfast menu too. Delivery of the food was very fast both for the dining in and drive-thru customers. One thing to note about their location. They're in the former Jack in the Box building on the corner of Cheryl Lane and Highway 99 across from the vacant Ray's Food Place in Phoenix. If you're driving from the south on Highway 99 you cannot cross the median to drive into the restaurant. You need to turn left at the light into the Ray's parking lot (or drive straight at the light into Ray's if coming from I-5), turn right and cross Cheryl Lane to get into their parking area or turn into the drive-thru for Lucy's Taco Shop. Leaving is back through the parking area to Cheryl Lane. Phoenix has a confusing interchange to get onto I-5. When you're leaving. drive past the Chevron station to turn left by the former Rite Aid to head towards the freeway entrances. Join Highway 99 in either direction from the light coming out of Ray's parking lot. It's worth the driving logistics the first time to get to Lucy's Taco Shop to support this family owned business. I know it won't be the last time I eat there!
