There was a bit of a hiccup on the day of due to a bit of miscommunication between the office to the supervisor, however, with a quick phone call, it was resolved quickly and the job still got done in a timely manner. Their pricing was very competitive and customer service was excellent. Also, no complaints with the job that was completed! Thank you, BK Demolition!

Said they would need to drill a hole in the bottom of the pool to drain the water, I told them they actually didn't because it was a soft bottom pool which the salesperson didn't seem familiar with. The water table is too high to drill a hole being close to the river and I can drain it with a trash pump and 100 feet of 3 in hose that I could take care of myself. Explained that I wanted the concrete deck around the pool also taken out and they said it can be used as fill material, which they also said they do frequently and it would be no problem. Talked about adding some gravel to the concrete fill and compacting everything every 18 inches or so to ensure things were stable and wouldn't settle later. Said they do this routinely as well. Also asked for 12 inches of top soil, which they said was no problem. Finally got the quote and it was actually wrong. It listed an entire pool's worth of clean fill material (over 100 cubic yards is needed) and 12,000 dollar charge with no breakdown showing reuse of the concrete decking as fill material, indicated disposal of pool equipment which I told them I would take out and sell on my own (I installed it), no breakdown in material costs for the remaining fill, no labor costs, and just general description of the actual work to be done and a line for me to pay the permit fees separately. I've had lots of contractors at my house and have never been asked to pay a separate fee for a permit, they've always included the permit fee in the job quotes. I contacted them and told them the quote was nothing like what we discussed and asked them to revise it based on the conversation that was held about concrete reuse, the amount of fill material, and the pool equipment. They said they would provide a new quote. New quote never showed up. I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but this was one of the worst contractor interactions I've ever been associated with for just simply getting a quote. Can't even begin to imagine how much oversight I would have to give them for the work to prevent errors if they can't even provide an accurate quote. I don't recommend them.

Their crew handled the demolition professionally and kept the job site organized throughout the project. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and how clean everything looked when they finished. The new concrete walkway with river rock borders completely modernized the front of my home, and the driveway expansion gave me much more usable space while significantly improving curb appeal. The team was reliable, communicative, and clearly took pride in their work. They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and delivered exactly what we discussed. If you're looking for a concrete contractor who can handle both demolition and new installation while keeping the project neat and professional from start to finish, I would absolutely recommend Herrada's Concrete.

We also opted to stain a few of the square patterns in the driveway black. The crew power washed the concrete, added the darker stain to the bands, and then applied a sealer. We absolutely love it. Once again Herrada's Concrete knocked it out of the park. Our next door neighbors have already had them add to their driveway and pour a walkway. You can't lose with this company! I rate them higher than 5 stars if I could!
