We needed a 100 year old Lava Rock Wall rebuilt after it was damaged by a fallen tree. The wall was 100 ft long x 3ft high with two returns. His crew did an amazing job rebuilding the entire wall making it better than it was originally. We are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them to anyone needing landscape work.

We had Aspen Creek design and install a specialized equestrian irrigation system. Obviously the water froze and broke several lines. After several phone calls and promises to come out with an irrigation service person, no one ever showed up or called back. Since there was no stated "warranty" on the work, I have no recourse but to hire someone else to fix this. As I've unfortunately read too late in many of these other reviews, this seems to be common.

We hired Aspen Creek for a full landscaping revision. We asked for hardscaping ideas and they had nothing to offer. Our Rainbird irrigation system leaves bone dry patches and flooded areas so plants die. Aspen Creek replanted the same plants only to die again. We have waited a year for the final design plan and plant list that has never come despite continued promises. Our sod is dying because the soil grade isn't correct. If you want good customer service, timely follow and clear communication, consider other landscaping companies. For what we paid, I would expect far better treatment. We have reached out many, many times, even trying to reach this business owner.

I had an appointment with Javiers Tree maintenance and they were a blatant no show. I coordinated my time specifically for them to visit. I am a busy mother who works full time, so when they did not arrive at the date and time of our appointment, I was obviously disappointed. Disclaimer: this was not weather related as the appointment was before the heat waves started. The team on yelp messenger contacted me later in the night (well after our appointment - 9pm) to reschedule for the very next day. I had to politely decline since I had plans. There was no attempt to give me another date or time. I did not get the sense that this person felt they were genuinely sorry for missing our appointment, in fact, there was no acknowledgement if it whatsoever. I hope this company will rethink about how they explain missed appointments to their customers, and understand that other people's time is valuable.

Rios Lawn Maintenance has been doing our yard for over ten years. They are the best landscaper…read moreever, and before them we tried several that did not do a good job. In addition to regular mowing, edging, etc., Rios does an excellent job keeping the weeds down, pruning as needed, removing overgrown shrubs, and supplying and planting new shrubs as requested. When I look at my neighbors' yards, maintained by other companies, it is easy to see that Rios is the best.

They quoted us $1,850 and promised it would look "professional and clean" within two days. What a joke. They showed up late both days, left huge piles of old leaves and branches scattered across the yard for us to deal with, and barely touched half the shrubs. The mulch they dumped is uneven, full of sticks and weeds, and they spread it way too thin in some spots and piled it up against the house in others--like they were trying to hide the fact they didn't weed first. Now my foundation is probably going to rot. The lawn edging looks like it was done with a drunk weed eater. Crooked lines everywhere, and they scalped the grass in several patches so bad it's brown already. One of my rhododendrons got completely hacked up--branches just snapped off and left lying there. When I called to complain, the owner got defensive and basically said "that's how it's supposed to look" and "you should have been more specific." We paid half upfront like they asked, and now they're dragging their feet on coming back to fix anything. I had to spend another $300 just to have a different crew come clean up their mess so our yard doesn't look abandoned. Save yourself the headache and money. There are plenty of honest landscapers in Sherwood and Tigard who actually know what they're doing. This company ruined our spring curb appeal and wasted two weekends of my time. Never again.
