Our experience here was strange to say the least. We popped in for lunch on a weekday and asked to sit out on the deck so we could take in the mountain views. The hostess walked off and another employee came and walked us to an inside table. So that was odd. The food was good, but the server was very abrupt and would ask us a question and then walk away from the table before we could answer. She brought us our check before I could even order a second margarita. So we paid and left. Service needs major work. read more

The Food is a hit and miss. Last time we ate there it was very good. But other times the food was just ok.

Some of the food is good but they seem to be very overpriced compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area...we paid $83 for 2 people compared to the typical $30-50 when we go out. The quesabirria wasn't bad but was just...underwhelming...no real amazing flavor to it and the tortillas on it had absolutely no flavor and were not crispy at all, just a wet floppy tortilla. The steak and chicken on the parrillada was pretty good though! The place was clean and it was decorated nice for Father's Day but the host seemed like she was over it already. This place was a nice surprise for the area! We were visiting family in Chatsworth so we came here to give it a try. For Chatsworth, it's 5 stars. If you stuck it in Atlanta by other Mexican restaurants, maybe 3-3.5 stars They give you free chips & salsa. The salsa is a mild, thinner salsa & the chips are thick. We had a pitcher of margaritas & they had super cute glassware. The margarita was good, normal. they put maraschino cherries in the glassware along with lime and orange slices. I didn't feel the alcohol after one goblet so I wouldn't say it's a strong drink. I had a combo that came with a taco, Chile relleno & enchilada. The Chile relleno was like a very mushy savory pie, honestly not sure if it was meat or beans and I don't think there was a pepper in it. Mostly dough. The taco was good, a normal tex Mex ground beef taco with a thin shell & 3/4 full. The enchilada was good, red sauce, lots of grease in the sauce as you can see in the pic the shininess. Stopped here on the way home from white water rafting at High Country Adventures (check them out!) and had a fantastic dinner. You wouldn't expect such good Mexican food from such a small town but we were pleasantly surprised! Our server Jasmine was super attentive and all the food was DELISH! I love the shrimp diablo!! The deserts are fantastic too, but man are they rich (sweetness). I recommend this place if you want to have a nice meal with the family. This is Chatsworth's best kept Secret. Always super friendly and great Service. The food is consistently fabulous and very tasty. I have several severe Allergies and the Staff has ALWAYS accommodated me. With a smile. And that is unfortunately rare when you have to adjust meals from the Menu because of Food Allergies. If there were zero stars, that would have been my rating. This was our first AND last visit. We ordered two Fiesta nachos with steak at lunch. It was $25.00...actually $24.60 something. They really think a lot of their food. It was carry out on Monday afternoon at appx 12:50 p.m. and they were not that busy. Waitress/cashier/manager (?) said it'd be about 20 minutes. She says, "oh, don't worry, you'll get plenty of chips and salsa." I should have suspected something then, but I'm kinda thick headed. I guess that was so we could put more in the putiful $25.00 plates, but that never occurred to me. Why would it? OK, 20 minutes roll around. Get food, carried out by handles. The food was COLD in the car, in the bag. BOTH PLATES, including the CHIPS!! Not only were the chips cold but they were like rubber. Why are the stupid chips cold in an "authentic" Mexican restaurant? Chips are usually the saving grace in a Mexican restaurant but not at Sierra's. Oh yeah, they were feeling extra generous and gave 1.5 orders of salsa but one bag of chips. I can honestly say this was some of the worst food I have ever had. As previously stated, the food was cold and dry. There wasn't even enough cheese, warm or otherwise, to add more chips to cover for the bad food. The chips on the plate's were like rubber, the steak-what there was of it-was incredibly tough and dry-looked like it was from the day before and tasted like the week before. Both plates looked like they were leftovers from another victim's plate. Honestly, the ingredients looked like they was dug out of the trash. I don't understand how they had the audacity to charge $25.00 for what we received. It was an unpleasant experience all around. I don't carry food or send back because...I'm sure you know why. I can say we will NEVER go back. It was an unpleasant and very expensive lesson but one I will NOT forget. If you get carry out, hope you're not very hungry and hope you like cold food-what little you get will probably be cold. BUYER BEWARE Taco Bell is open and where we'll go next time. read more

My husband and I had a bad experience with lunch at Sierra's. We waited by the door to be seated as the hostess and several servers walked back and forth by us and completely ignored us for more than 5 minutes. (If someone just said "we will be with you in a few minutes" it would have been no problem.) We both ordered off the lunch menu and pointed to the items we wanted, but got charged the dinner price. Be careful if the waitress asks if you want steak with a lunch item- apparently that is a dinner up-charge, but she won't tell you that until you get the bill. The steak "tips" were not fresh and the portion of the tips in the quesadilla is tiny. We do not recommend Sierra's. read more

Went this pass Sunday and had horrible service. The waitress was snappy and was getting confused on the orders. We were a large group and you could feel the waitress was not happy to attend us. My husband asked her if she would like to review the orders and she said no- I am suppose to be gone already, I am leaving. Worst server yet. I have came several times and never encountered this problem, but will not come again after this. I came to have lunch with my mom and we stopped by Sierra's today. The food came out more, however while eating we found a hair in our chicken nachos! We spoke with the so-called manager who never apologized and minimalized our issue. She said the nachos were only 5. 99, like the process makes a difference when you find a hair in your food. I did ask to speak to the owner and the so-called manager said that the owner was out of town. Our waitress said that the owner was her sister and she was aware of the problem not to worry about it. I told the manager that I would not be back and she said we're not worried people tell me that all the time and they come back anyway. I will not be back! As we got ready to leave my mom took a picture of the food with the hair in the manager walked behind her and said make sure you get good lighting. Visited Wasaga Beach with my sister & her group of special needs friends. We ate here for dinner & it was phenomenal. The spot is in an excellent location, the food is outstandingly delicious (everything is fresh, as in they do not freeze their ingredients), & the people are homely & courteous. Would recommend you visit & will definitely be dropping by in any of my future visits. We happened by this restaurant a couple months ago and were really surprised by the food and waitstaff. We're not often in the area, but because we were driving a similar route, we decided to give it another try since it was so good the first time. I ordered the same meal as last time, and it was consistently as good as the first time around. I'm impressed by the fresh food this restaurant delivers. Im used to Mexican restaurants in my area that precook their entrees and by the time it's ordered,it's DRY and inedible.
