They apparently drove their aerator through our gravel bed, dragging gravel onto our lawn. I would not use Padilla again for any work and would not recommend them to others. My response to Padilla's response: I selected Padilla based on many positive reviews. When I experienced poor and unprofessional service from Padilla, I thought, did I miss something? So I went back and looked for reviews again. What I found in Padilla's Facebook reviews shocked me. We chose to hire ZGL to do our landscaping after building our home in 2016. He had come…read morerecommended by our realtor but also we chose them because they offered a five year warranty. The other reason was that we wanted experts who would make proper suggestions and lead us correctly without ideas. We also didn't choose the lowest bid that we had on our backyard landscape because we wanted things done correctly. Within the first year we had to use the warranty because parts of our patio were already starting to sink down and cause puddles. This became a yearly "patch" project every spring. We also had addressed a few other issues that had come up that were discussed such as the path needing to be extended to the yard not into the patio (we had discussed a privacy wall and that made no sense where they ended the path into a wall). What we quickly found out was attention to detail was not their strength at ZGL. Our plan verses the outcome were not the same but we verbally had discussed quite a bit with the landscape designer. We discussed many details that never came to fruition such as stone around the Pergola legs and camouflaging the window wells with more of a paver lip so that they weren't sticking up ad badly. Also the plants put in the following spring were tiny and most did not take and were not what was previously discussed. We asked the owner to come take a look at the patio in May of 2022 after my voicemails were "lost". He called me after I left a bad review, which I removed once I thought he was willing to work with us. The patio was redone completely in 2020 (due to more sinking) and in 2022 it was sinking again and we had pavers on the end caps coming off. We asked him to reconsider the materials used (smaller pavers?) he refused and blamed our builder for all of the settling on the property. We attempted to dispute with BBB which was a waste of time as Mr George made up lies and came off condescending through the process. We showed all the "proof" needed with emails, text messages, and photos but the BBB we learned will protect the companies paying into it not the consumer. We are left with an unlevel pergola, an unsafe patio with loose pavers and sinking areas that are trip hazards. Never use this company they make excuses instead of doing what's right.
