For our entrees, we had the lamb seekh and tandoori chicken. The spinach sauce was spicy, but enjoyable. I wished they turned the AC up higher while I was eating it though. I also like that they incorporated mushrooms in the dish. The tandoori chicken was tender and the sauce was also nice. Overall, I preferred the lamb seekh while my bf preferred the tandoori chicken. The entrees came with basmati rice, which we needed a refill of, and garlic naan. Dessert was what I was most looking forward to. The menu stated "Tropical Sorbet, Coconut, Lychee." When it was served, the waiter described it a little bit, but didn't mention anything about the lychee. I thought they gave me the wrong dessert. The lychee was located within the center as a nice surprise though. I was still a little confused about the different components of the dessert and asked the waiter again. He wasn't able to fully explain it to me. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch here. I was quite full. The main thing is that I feel like the menu could be a little more descriptive. The beef in the Beef Saagwala was a bit on the dry side but the spinach sauce was rich and succulent, whilst that old standby Bombay Aloo was well above average. We're long standing fans of the Jewel but had been of the opinion that its best days were behind it. However, it now seems to be under new management and the food is seriously good.
