We got there around 4:50pm. Many things around the city close around 5 or 6 pm so it was a great start to our trip considering it was a tour of 30 minutes. Our boat guide was great and gave us information on the buildings that we saw. The views are some of the best in the city. I highly recommend.

All of them were the evening tours so they gave you a perfect mix of history but also the cool stories too! The first one I took was in Bruges and the guide named Bram was fantastic. He was local to the area and the views were great. Our tour size was about 10ish people and was perfect. The second tour was in Brussels and I had Ellie as a guide. She knew a lot about the area and had studied museum history so it was perfect. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it was quite casual. The third tour I met up with a friend and we toured Antwerp with our guide Tom. It was just the two of us for that tour and Tom did a great job showing us the sites and not rushing us through! All the tours and guides were fantastic and I truly recommend taking a tour. Especially the evening tours because you get history that you wouldn't have thought to explore!

I had to get back to the tour meeting point within an hour so I didn't have much time to wait. I asked if it would be a wait and was told that it shouldn't be long (10 minutes max) but it ended up being 1/2 hour. Seems the Boat tours get busier as the afternoon progresses. It was a nice/Hot day and some type of shade in the waiting area would have been nice. 12 Euros and they do accept cards. This was my second time taking the tour and it was ok. It was difficult to hear the Captain/Guide given he was speaking fast as he was trying to provide the information in a couple of languages. In addition, the PA system wasn't clear. Overall, a good way to see Brugge from the canal perspective. More to enjoy the sights vs sights and information.

Every beer tour is different. Sometimes it is more like a bar hop, and sometimes it is like a…read morechemistry lesson. This tour is kind of a blend of the two in equal parts. If you enjoy the drinking mainly, you may wait a bit to really dive in, and if you aren't good with sours or Belgian-style ales, this likely isn't going to be your cup of tea. However, if you enjoy a variety of ales, enjoy history, are good with walking, and like to learn a lot about the science behind making beer, then this is the tour for you. We covered a good portion of the town (at least the main highlights), in just a few hours, tried 6 different beers, learned A LOT from our extremely knowledgeable tour guide (the dude knows so much about all types of beer, not just Belgian), and had a great time doing it. The value is also excellent at about 39 Euros per person (+ tip!). Brugge is a cool town, and if you are going to get some guided walking in, you might as well also enjoy some of the best beers in the country. Definitely recommended.

Seating is on a padded bench that goes along the sides of the boat and a handful of individual seats in the middle + Entry/exit of the boat requires stepping up and onto the seat and then down. If you are traveling with someone with extreme mobility issues, you should take this into consideration. + While the drive did try and give commentary during the trip, it what somewhat hard to hear due to being in the back and the lack of whatever microphone they were attempting to use + There are restrooms once you get in; however, they do ask for a 0,20€ payment. Thought the doors were not tied to any locking mechanism if you didn't pay like some individuals seemed to do. **There is one bridge that you go under 2x within the first 5 minutes of the cruise that does require you to duck, so pay attention to the drive when they tell you to. Overall, a nice way to see Bruge on the water and to give you an idea of where to go back to and explore on foot

The tour was a nice way to get oriented to the area, and a pleasant way to sightsee while not having to walk. The tours leave regularly, it looked like every 10 minutes or so, and our wait was very short after paying. The boat was comfortable, and our guide spoke excellent English and was easy to understand. The quality of the tour is very guide dependent, and I had read this prior to going on the canal tour. Our guide explained sites concisely, but lacked the humor and constant banter that we saw on other canal tours when we sat by a canal later that day. The canal tour wasn't an outstanding highlight of our trip to Brugge, but I enjoyed it, and given the low cost, I felt it was worth the time and money. Pro tip: show a Rick Steves guidebook at this tour company to get the group rate, it saved us 3 euros/person. Also as a side note: I get terribly sea sick on boats and was totally comfortable on the canal boat; the ride was very smooth and not at all bouncy.

We quickly set off to explore, shoot and discover Bruges (and our camera's). We're all used to shooting a certain way and quickly get accustomed to our ways, but Andy showed us how to take photos differently by teaching us new tricks, ways to get a fresh perspective and take more interesting photos. To choose an angle you otherwise wouldn't, to not go for the picture perfect, to get more personal shots in that trigger the memory. It's something we won't soon forget. Andy has a tablet on which he shows you his pictures for inspiration, it's a great help to see the visual and even more fun trying to copy his great shots! We were all happy and excited and left with lots of photos and memories of a fun and educational afternoon, we were all a little wiser and had the photographs to prove it.  Despite the sizable group, Andy managed to give each of us personal care and was ready to answer our questions and at the end, everyone got an envelope with 5 free photos by Andy, a postcard and some free local tips on other places to visit and good bars/eateries for every budget. Much appreciated! I would highly recommend Andy on your visit to Bruges, whether you're a beginner or pro shooter, it's a great way to explore the town and all it's hidden corners and get camera advice.
