I usually go to the location nearest my home (off Andresen and 63rd) , but the last few times I've encountered not so friendly service and attitude when trying to return an Amazon package. I've actually been charged $1 (cash only) to return a package, which is inconvenient since I hardly ever carry cash. I rarely have Amazon returns and the last one I had I dropped off at Kohl's. This time Kohl's wasn't an option. After looking at reviews, I decided to give this location a shot. It's located near Panera Bread off Hwy 99. The employees were friendly, courteous and professional. One employee actually held the door open for me as I retrieved my package from the backseat of my car. So nice! As I walked up to the counter I was greeted with a smile and asked how my day was going. I've never encountered this at the other store. I told him I just had an Amazon return. He said no problem, scanned my return QR code, then handed me a return receipt. Painless experience. No extra fees or hassle for my package return. This will definitely be the UPS Store my husband and I will use for future services. Highly recommend.

There were 2 employees working and no other customers in the store. I proceed towards the counter, then looked at my cell phone clock and read out load, no its 5:59 pm. The female/Hispanic employee rolled her eyes and proceeded to scan my 2 QR codes with sass. I live in Woodland and regularly visit this store with ease when I am traveling to Vancouver. Please teach your staff what good not even great customer service should look like and feel like. Open, means open...not almost closed! I have learned you can't teach quality customer service anymore-you either have it or you don't. Your customers have a choice where they do their shipping, and I will not be back to this specific location. Do better Miss Attitude!

I've truly enjoyed working with Kristine and Michael at Markon Brand Designs. Building a brand is…read moremore than just picking a name, it's about defining my business in print. Although I can creatively design a wedding or party, I have no graphic design background so I went on the hunt for a marketing company that could help. Doing my due diligence, I contacted several local companies, but really liked Kristine right from the initial meeting! After talking to a couple of her current clients about the service they provided, I was sold and our partnership began! The only thing I knew for certain was there needed to be the color Orange represented in my branding somewhere. Markon delivered a group of logos featuring birch trees, branches, origami cranes and a wonderful color palette of grays and, yes, ORANGE! I've really become attached to one of them in particular, the round logo with the large orange crane, for its simplicity and ease of use in different mediums. My next favorite is the forest graphic with 1000 STORIES printed boldly and a smaller, yet very present, orange crane. But having an entire brand suite available ensures the brand identity will remain strong. Kristine and Michael have continued to deliver projects, as promised, on time and I am looking forward to working with them on the next task of a store-front sign and then whatever else I find I need, I know I have a partner that will bring it to life and continue to strengthen the 1000 STORIES brand.

I originally chose Markon because Jennifer sounded very knowledgable and professional in the short five minute initial inquiry I had about a flag/banner I was hoping to have printed. I had the design and asked various questions about how we could get to my end goal. Email communication was their preferred method and I was ok with that since it saved me travel time and it was convenient. I emailed her my hand sketch and the computer graphic version. It was then passed to their graphic designer. She made her copy that would allow the image to be blown up without loss of detail. At this point I noticed several areas that I was not happy with in the image. We emailed back and forth, every time if a problem was corrected another problem would come up. This ranged from white spots on solid color areas, not centered, wrong base color, lettering not looking uniform and white outlines/shadows that looked like computer glitches. I worked with them over the course of a week trying to come to a compromise. I had pretty much given up on the final product being everything I was hoping for. As the deadline for final approval was approaching I decided to visit their location for in person interaction, hoping to clear up whatever was causing the miscommunication. A paper print was made and I indicated the issues I had with the image. The following image they sent me was the wrong back ground color again, it had been correct for a few proofs, and there were whited out patches in a different area. The email indicated this was the final attempt they would be making. I wasn't satisfied with a wrong color banner with white spots so I called them. Jennifer was the opposite of our initial communication. She wouldn't let me finish sentences, kept insisting I just email my changes and put me on hold twice without telling me why. The second hold Sabrina answered and while she didn't interrupt me or cut me off she also insisted that email was the way to solve my dissatisfaction. I finally agreed. Before I could email them they emailed me saying they could no longer work with my project because it was too detailed and my deposit was refunded. I'm blown away by this sudden change. One day before finalizing to print. Meaning I have no opportunity to find an alternate company. If the project was too difficult I feel that stating this openly in the beginning would have been a much preferred. As it is, I leave Markon feeling they lack integrity and professionalism. Their sudden about face caught me completely by surprise but they at least returned my deposit and are not thieves.
