Okay, so I usually shave my hair around the back and sides and I usually have the top braided in some type of individual braids, but I've been letting my sides and back girl out since New Year's and it's not long enough to braid for a sew in. So I decided to go with my first quick weave and I had been asking around, but it seemed like a lot of stylists don't want to bother with my hair because it's very short and natural. I spoke with Miss TJ after I spoke with a couple of other stylists and I immediately knew I was going to like her. She was professional and very informative She also had a lot of patience with me when I told her this would be my very first quick weave. She fully explain to me the process of the quick weave and also requested that I send her pictures of what style I was looking to achieve. Then we set an appointment for 2p today and she was there on time and waiting for me. She also went so far as to explain each step to me as she was doing it and my style came out great. There were only two things I did not like about the salon: 1. The name of the salon is called Glamour Styles and it's on the second floor of Tantrums (a preschool toddler care or something like that). 2. The stairs are kind of scary... would be very easy to fall down. Once you get past all of that, the salon is very beautiful on the inside mostly wooden has lots of shampoo chairs and dryer chairs and also each hairstylist is in a different suite. So you don't have to sit in the middle of the open floor while everyone watches you get your hair done. Bottom line: I would recommend this salon to a friend and I will be going back to get my hair done again.

I am so glad that I went to the class because it was individualized and styles were created based on the length and size of my locs, as well as my personal taste. Not only did I leave with new styles that I will be trying this week, but I also left with an unexpected goodie bag with hair pins, hair rubber bands, a head wrap, etc; basically everything used in the class and more! It felt very warm and inviting. Once Adrianna arrived, she was very sweet as well. She and I came up with a plan to help with my hair growth since I had cut my hair off and helped me plan out how to maintain the moisture in my hair. She even booked another appointment before I even left and assured me that we'd work together to find a way to help my hair become healthier. Can't wait to go back! FYI, this was my first time coming here and I've been looking for a stylist for over a year.

I booked online and paid extra for deep conditioning. The style was horrible! She just put gel in my hair and called that a style.. she didn't even try to define the curl or enhance it. What mean by that, she saw that it wasn't curling, she didn't offer to use straws, rods, twist up....nothing.. not even a defuser or dryer was used, i was told the service was over with wet gel drenched hair! 45.00 later, I learned NEVER TO GO here again.

My review is absolutely honest but it looks like you are one that can't handle the truth. We both know that the appointment was confirmed before you sent any texts the same day of the appt. If this was brought to court you would look like a fool because I have written documentation that the appointment was confirmed and was never cancelled. You made the decision not to show up or call. And when I did try to contact you, you did not answer the phone by neither myself nor your work colleagues at the salon.
