Maura really helped me out!…read more The rising cost of gas motivated me to buy an expensive e-bike. On my very first ride the rear tire went flat about 5 miles from my home. It was my first time riding it. I wasn't carrying a spare tube or any tools and my only option was to push that 100 pound beast home on a completely flat tire. The sky was pretty dark and I knews big rain was coming. I was really worried about what might happen to my expensive e-bike when it was exposed to the elements in that way. I was feeling kind of miserable.... That's when Mauras car appeared! She stopped directly opposite the entrance to a Wal-Mart at the height of Rush Hour and introduced herself and offered to shuttle me home. I was worried that the weight of the E-bike would be too much for the strap on bike rack she was carrying in her back seat..... but Maura was not deterred from rescuing me. She suggested we put the bike on the hood of the car! I was amazed that someone could be so willing and anxious to help! After a little discussion we ended up going with the bike rack. It was a quality rack, better than the one I own myself. I took the battery out of the bike and that reduced the weight significantly. Maura helped me lift the bike and strap in it in and off we went. Maura drove safe and steady. She knew the area well enough to know all the landmarks and shops. Directing her was easy! I was impressed that she stayed at the speed limit and drove safely up that particular road at rush hour. People were blowing right past and doing the kind of things people do at rush hour and she was fine. We had a pleasant, stress free conversation about cookies as she drove. When we got to my home she helped me lift my bike off the rack and made certain I had gotten my battery and backpack out of her backseat before leaving. It takes a good hearted person to do something like that. That is something that a lot of "Trail Angels" and Uber Drivers lack. I have her card now and I am certain I will have occasion to use it before the summer is over. I give her an A+ rating. This is not someone I'd be uncomfortable or feel unsafe riding with. She isn't the type of person that is gonna drive off with your gear or leave you somewhere you don't want to be. A+

At a different number, no one answers the call, and the machine does not leave one enough time to leave an adequate message. The management does not communicate well, and it is not easy to reach them with any issues related to the schedule and/or the quality of service. When I discussed issues with Johnny today (11/24) regarding an unannounced change to today's cleaning and the subsequent ripple of changing it, he stated that he was doing the best he can and that "everyone has something and not everyone can get a regular schedule with the same cleaner..." That statement makes me wonder what one must do to become one of the clients with whom they have established regularity. Additionally, their emails often will drop into spam folders so if you do not monitor that folder, you will not see it. I was told, "if our system doesn't work for you, then perhaps we shouldn't be doing business with you." Client oriented this organization is NOT. (imagine a YODA voice) The schedule process is not ideal. Once you establish an initial schedule, they can and will change and without warning. One is never able to plan for a cleaning day. I like to be home when the cleaning occurs. For this reason, I plan other activities so that I can be present. When they cancel without notice, it through the day off. While someone else originally set up the account for me, she supplied my contact information at the time of initiation but for whatever reason, they don't use it. Any information that they provide her does not always reach me. When they do make changes, they make the changes in their system but do not let you know. The quality of the service is irregular. Since the beginning of service in July 2023 - at a rate of twice a week - there have been nine (9) cleanings completed in varying degrees of cleanness from four (4) different cleaners, Riley, Emma, Tiffany and Alishia. The first three were extremely poor cleaners and worked very slowly. Because Sparkling Cleaning employees are required to provide their own supplies, the quality of cleaning solutions, scents, etc. vary from cleaner to cleaner. That said, only Alishia works with efficiency and visible evidence of cleaning having occurred. She works quickly and is cordial. The other three provided sketchy service. How one can clean with just a couple of rags, one cleaning solution for all surfaces, a mop and water (no cleaning solution) and a vacuum is beyond me. Tiffany took the full three hours and aside from the bathrooms, it was quite visible that she did a poor job - dust remained on furniture, cobwebs in the corners of the stairs were not removed, etc. While the service provided by Sparkling Cleaning is not terribly expensive, caveat emptor.

They sell everything including surveillance security cameras. But what I love about them is that they are honest and don't just try to sell you stuff. Yesterday Shawn (spelling ?) came to set up my new TV I got at Costco. He was wonderful, patient and knowledgeable He was willing to explain everything and went overboard to check everything to make sure it all worked.
