Dawn and holly tried telling me that I owed money into the irs and I wasn't getting a refund. I didn't believe that. They tried telling me that I put 2s or 3s on my w4s at work(which I take out extra money every week and I put 1 so impossible) After having their "higher ups" even look at my return I still didn't believe it...so I went to a private cpa to have her do it. Turns out, I am getting a refund and I don't owe in AT ALL. Maybe they should actually hire people that know what they are doing because they clearly don't... or they were SCAMMING me. Oh and when I went back the next day to retrieve my w2s and originals, the dark haired lady at the desk almost refused to give them back and tried talking me into staying there with them and trying to give me copies for a HALF HOUR!!!! It doesn't take that long to get my folder and hand it over. Very SKETCHY business and they obviously are undereducated . Lastly, i was told I owed in $365 to the irs and I wasn't getting ANY (zero) money back whatsoever.. after going to another CPA she gave me my refund of $5900. They obviously were pissed that they lost out on all my money. I believe there are HRBLocks out there that do have great staff and are there to help but not this office in Littleton NH.

They filed our taxes and the next thing we know, we were being audited because they tried to cut corners when we didn't ask them to. I am sure our taxes were done on a Sunday evening while getting drunk and watching football. I will not recommend this guy. At a different number, no one answers the call, and the machine does not leave one enough time to leave an adequate message. The management does not communicate well, and it is not easy to reach them with any issues related to the schedule and/or the quality of service. When I discussed issues with Johnny today (11/24) regarding an unannounced change to today's cleaning and the subsequent ripple of changing it, he stated that he was doing the best he can and that "everyone has something and not everyone can get a regular schedule with the same cleaner..." That statement makes me wonder what one must do to become one of the clients with whom they have established regularity. Additionally, their emails often will drop into spam folders so if you do not monitor that folder, you will not see it. I was told, "if our system doesn't work for you, then perhaps we shouldn't be doing business with you." Client oriented this organization is NOT. (imagine a YODA voice) The schedule process is not ideal. Once you establish an initial schedule, they can and will change and without warning. One is never able to plan for a cleaning day. I like to be home when the cleaning occurs. For this reason, I plan other activities so that I can be present. When they cancel without notice, it through the day off. While someone else originally set up the account for me, she supplied my contact information at the time of initiation but for whatever reason, they don't use it. Any information that they provide her does not always reach me. When they do make changes, they make the changes in their system but do not let you know. The quality of the service is irregular. Since the beginning of service in July 2023 - at a rate of twice a week - there have been nine (9) cleanings completed in varying degrees of cleanness from four (4) different cleaners, Riley, Emma, Tiffany and Alishia. The first three were extremely poor cleaners and worked very slowly. Because Sparkling Cleaning employees are required to provide their own supplies, the quality of cleaning solutions, scents, etc. vary from cleaner to cleaner. That said, only Alishia works with efficiency and visible evidence of cleaning having occurred. She works quickly and is cordial. The other three provided sketchy service. How one can clean with just a couple of rags, one cleaning solution for all surfaces, a mop and water (no cleaning solution) and a vacuum is beyond me. Tiffany took the full three hours and aside from the bathrooms, it was quite visible that she did a poor job - dust remained on furniture, cobwebs in the corners of the stairs were not removed, etc. While the service provided by Sparkling Cleaning is not terribly expensive, caveat emptor.
