I'm really torn over this. A small historic little restaurant with a tavern feel. We had no…read morerezzie but were seated immediately. the table for two was next to a table of 7 young people all drinking with very little eating. The noise was awful as we were only a couple of feet apart. The other two tables of two next to us also were grimacing. In rooms this small I wonoder why not just make it all communal family style dining as couples have a miserable time. In the other room there was a party of twelve and then a few other smaller tables. Our food arrived in 5 minutes from ordering, so obviously out of pre-cooked batches. Pablo had the asparagus ravioli, a massive portion. I had pork, again a large portion. You will never starve in Austria! Food was A-OK. We ate and ran.

I've ate here during the Mercedes G-Class tour of Austria and I find the restaurant "employees & most locals" are so rude against anybody who are not Austrians or Germans. Especially if you are an American! Oddly they are not friendly to American visitors dining at their local hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Even the waiter asked me if I had money to pay for my dinner which was about $17 euros. Are you kidding me? They're lucky I didn't sued them. I'll just let it go in this review. I'll give a two star rating since I liked their food and it was delicious. The meal I ordered was prepared with perfection. I just don't appreciate the bad attitude and the poor judgments they have when Non-Austrians/Germans are visiting this place.

Recommended by the LP guidebook so this is the first restaurant we tried in Innsbruck. Good thing…read moreas it doesn't seem to be open on Saturdays. It's on a narrow side street with a few tables outside. Inside the dining room has well spaced tables, and is artistically decorated, stylish and interesting. We both had the day's special which was sea bass on risotto. Perfectly cooked fish, well presented, the skin so crispy ate it all even though I usually don't like to eat fish skin. A bit pricy (entree at 32 euros) compared to some of the other places but it feels quite upscale.

I loved the food here and the service was also excellent. They have a 5 or 6 course degustation menu for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. They also have an a la carte menu with modern Austrian dishes as well as a few traditional Austrian dishes like schnitzel and so on. The a la carte menu also has quite a few choices for vegetarians. They will allow you to also select a dish or two from the degustation menu and let you order it as starter or main. The wine list is extensive and they have a good selection of Austrian and International wines. The waitress we had was very helpful and spoke good English. She also modified the menu slightly to fit a couple of people's requirement. We started with a smoked saibling with lentil and plums as well as a venison carpaccio to share. Both dishes were exquisite, subtle and packed with clean flavors. I absolutely loved my starters. For main I choose the beef cheeks which came on a bed of polenta and veggies. The beef cheeks were cooked to perfection and I loved it too. For dessert we shared a chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and a semolina schmarrn. The chocolate mousse was disappointing and the rest was great. The wine we had was amazing and the coffee was also quite ok. This place is more expensive and the wines are priced on the more expensive side but, not over the top. I would happily pay to eat here again. The flavors are amazing and the ambience and service is excellent. I look forward to my next visit. All four of us enjoyed our meals immensely and would come back here again anytime. A great restaurant in Innsbruck :-))
