I found Dr. Helbich as a last ditch effort thanks to ZocDoc on a particularly low/chaotic sunday morning.. First delight he actually DID have an appointment for that VERY same day (his office hours are friday-monday) which simply put is an EXTREMELY rare occurrence to obtain a same day appointment for therapy anywhere let alone Manhattan in which month long waiting lists are more common than not, let alone having WEEKEND & evening hours!! I easily booked through ZocDoc and within the hour he called me. His calming demeanor over the phone and genuine empathy even when acquiring basic information via the phone immediately put me at ease with my anxiety. He also confirmed the appointment time as well as discussed his rate and informed me that although he isn't in network with my insurance that he would be happy to provide me an invoice for me to submit for reimbursement. He also provided detailed instructions oh how to get to his office which is VERY convienietly located in the village.
