We enjoyed our special Easter roast, and the set menu made it fairly affordable. £20 for three courses of generous portions and really, really attentive and sweet service.
Oddly, despite the hotel being perched at the top of a big bluff overlooking the beautiful Cornish coast, the main dining hall's only windows look out on to the parking lot.
The champagne bar is a nice idea but isn't separate from the dining area or otherwise made to feel exclusive or ....whatever the classy version of cozy is. Secluded? Intimate? It feels more like a hotel lobby (cause it kind of is?) and is very loud/cold with it's high ceilings and tile floor. Not awful, just wasn't what I was expecting. read more
