This is an extremely dishonest veterinary clinic with very dubious billing practices. I would…read morehighly recommend that any person considering taking thier pet to this clinic to get comparative quotes with another vet before engaging with these crooks. They are overcharging at every possible opportunity at this clinic and they're ripping everyone off extensively. We were being charged four times the amount for medication that we were able to source elsewhere as a simple example. This is on top of the consultation fee and the prescription fee which actually exceeded the cost of the medication itself. Do yourself and your pet a favour and take your business to another vet practice that actually prioritises compassion for animals instead of profits.

Stay away!!!!!! I…read morestrongly advise pet owners to read multiple reviews and do thorough research before bringing their animals to this clinic. Based on my experience, I believe this vet prioritises profit over proper diagnosis and animal care. I took my dog in for a concerning lump, expecting a thorough examination. To my shock, no physical examination of the wound was performed, the vet did not palpate, clean, or treat the area. The only test done was an X-ray, supposedly to check for possible spread of said "cancer." I was told, based purely on visual observation, that my dog likely had either Hemangiosarcoma (a type of blood or skin cancer) or a Mast Cell Tumor, both serious and terrifying possibilities. However, cancer in dogs cannot be definitively diagnosed just by looking. A proper diagnosis requires diagnostic testing such as aspiration, biopsy, or cytology, none of which were offered or performed, Before the vet told me this is what my dog had!!!! Despite the lack of appropriate testing or examination, I was pushed toward expensive next steps, which felt more like a sales pitch than a treatment plan. The approach left me deeply concerned about the clinic's priorities and standards of care. Due to these concerns, I have reported the incident to the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland & office of fair trading for review, citing neglect of basic veterinary practice and failure to provide a standard level of care. Please be cautious and seek a second opinion if you have any doubts. Our pets deserve better!!!!!! They will obviously try hard to defend themselves.

Dreadful experience that almost cost my dog his life and if the emergency animal ambulance personal had not of intervened that's exactly how it would have ended! I returned with my dog every day for 3 days post surgery and my concerns were completely ignored by this clinic! On day 3 I learned that they had overbooked surgeries with one of their staff on a day off. Because I had been so very concerned about his recovery and he wasn't going well I left him in their hands believing they specialised in his breed. Well, he had an emergency and had to be intubated. Then at our direction was to be transferred to the specialist vets but the vet hadn't even sedated the dog suitably for the trip. The ambulance staff had to argue with her on our dogs behalf! I've heard horror story after horror story since sharing our experience and even been bullied online by the clinic staff! Pretending not to be clinic staff but sharing my personal details with others !!!! Oh and they will say they don't have a record of me as a client well I'm happy to share the bills that say otherwise!!!! Never ever would I recommend this place.

I hurriedly booked in after checking that they look after birds (via their website). When I arrived I was informed they rarely see birds, but recommended a great vet practice that did (The Bird Vet, Chermside) - but they also did a quick 5 minute check on my squealing cockatiel and assured me he'll live after finding he just split a blood feather.
