In 2025, we hired David Sheehan to do exterior repairs on 5 porches our rental property house, and he had not finished when we gave him a large deposit, for another project, he said he needed money to buy materials for us. That was the last we saw of him. Chased him thru the legal system, then he had the nerve to up and die before we could face him in court. The case is still pending and it's up to our lawyer now. Oh, and after he skipped in the wind, a different contractor we hired told us Sheehan's work was crap.

While the crew was super friendly, efficient and took great care to install the kitchen cabinetry and appliances without damaging them, I will tell you that my overall impression isn't good. My grievances include: plumber damaging newly stalled wooden floors in the kitchen, which Jamison Breen acknowledged but did nothing to repair or correct; installing a damaged window to which they stated that I just didn't know how to open and I'm still dealing with getting this repaired on my own despite the crew also damaging the window trying to get it to work correctly; not replacing outside siding that was taken down during the kitchen remodel where a door was removed and I have since paid someone else to fix this; not properly caulking the kitchen tile despite it immediately crumbling. Unfortunately for Breen I have since contracted with a new company who makes them look really bad, as this new company is truly consultative and respects the money I am spending. I finished my time with Breen feeling that "my money wasn't green enough." Perhaps if I had a $300k job for them rather than an $80k job they would have cared more. I know of others who paid for a $300k job who are pleased - they should be! But so should everyone. Buyer beware! All their positive reviews come directly from their website. Ask for referrals and of those who have been dissatisfied so you can assess the kinds of grievances you want to put up with. If my complaints had been dealt with professionally I would have put down 4 starts, perhaps even 5. People are human and prone to error. It's the power of communication and doing right by clients that sets the amazing contractors apart from the good or "okay" ones.
