Left around 5 with meds and a follow up appointment.

The vet techs are great, and care about the animals. I have recommended this clinic to many over the years, and will continue to do so. Don't be fooled by the cute pets you see running around behind the front desk area. I have had numerous incidents when I put my dog in their kennel. The staff that are responsible for boarding do not care about those pets. It's not clean. My pet always has a negative experience when he is boarded, and the staff doesn't care. They have gotten my dog mixed up with another dog and thought that was funny. During my dog recent boarding, they didn't feed my dog. I measured his food and snacks, and the food and snack returned back with the same measurements. My dog was boarded for two days. I sent a complaint via email and no one from their staff responded. That's very unprofessional.

She shaved off almost all of my dog's hair except for his head and feet, which is not what I asked for at all. And was very unprofessional!! What upset me even more was that I later found a nick near my dog's private area, and no one said a word to me about it. If an accident happens, I understand that mistakes can occur, but I expect honesty and communication. Not telling me about an injury to my dog is unacceptable. I trusted them with my pet, and I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and like my concerns weren't respected. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND

The first time I brought Mila to Stacy & crew, I was worried she'd raise hell and it would be our last time. Man, was I wrong. They are so good with her, she squeals whenever we pull up to the shop. This girl--who hates getting wet and dryer sounds and who gets stressed around new people--acts like we arrived at the dog park when we roll up to Elgin Grooming & Boarding. She loves them, and she looks and smells fantastic when I get her back. A note on scheduling to wrap this up: I can usually get an appointment within a week, maybe 2 weeks if it's busy, excluding major holidays. But I recognize that fitting my short-haired pit mix into the schedule for a bath & groom is probably easier than a different breed of dog that requires more grooming time. Alright, lemme go make an appointment before I forget.
