The Town Center is across from the Midwest City, OK, Welcome Center; Tinker AFB; Tinker Bicentennial Park. It is north of I-240, and north of I-40, off exit 157C. It's north of SE 29th Street, south of SE 15th Street, east of S. Air Depot Blvd, and west of S. Midwest Blvd. Details: The Town Center was opened in 2005 and was completed in 2007. There are about 56 stores, restaurants, and services in a 90 plus acre area. I've listed them out, almost in order of location, starting from the west, off Air Depot Blvd, and going east towards Midwest Blvd. Most of the restaurants are along SE 29th Street, towards the front of the Plaza, so it's easier to see and get to them. The base stores, Lowe's, Best Buy, JCPenney, Target, Marshall's, and Kohl's, are situated to the rear of the Plaza; with the remaining stores, food places, and services in the middle stores. During December, the Plaza Market area is decorated with Christmas decorations and lights, with a huge Christmas tree in the center of the Market. You'll have to walk a little for some stores since the parking right next to the middle stores and some of the stores located off SE 29th Street are limited. Personal Experience: I've been to 15 of the listed restaurants and stores, and with the exception of a bad dining experience at Chili's; the places I've been to are clean and the staff have been nice and helpful. It's just a small corner strip mall tht has space available. The only thing holding it down right now is a loan place at the north end. Doesn't get a lot of business in this area after dark anymore.

Heritage plaza has been around for a while. It's still in really good shape. There are restaurants,…read moreveterinary services, a church, financials and several other businesses. This is located on the north end of Midwest city. There is easy access from several different directions. Check out the shops. Also have places available for rent.

The bowling green center has been converted to a medical facility mall. Most of the access is from…read morethe outside. Touchstone imaging is located just inside the main entrance and from what could see everything else from the entrance is closed and securely locked. I'm not sure what the plans are for it but there is a lot of available space. This use to be a thriving bowling alley then a medical center. Now it's just sparsely occupied. It appears to still be in good repair from the areas I was in. Will do some more looking when I go back for my appt.

The building and area is very well kept. Easy access in and out with a large parking area. They have numerous services and the values fluctuate from businesses.

Uptown center is in the heart of old Midwest City. They are trying to revitalize the area. The…read morelongtime staple was Langston Western Wear at the east end but they have gone out of business. I did notice some construction work going on I. The old space so we will see. There are other business options, a restaurant or two, a family dollar, a financial place and health care. Hopefully they will pull this area back together. There is just not a lot of stuff going on here after dark.

The Main Street gets a little busy around lunch and getting out of work times so getting out can sometimes be an issue. I usually exit to the far north as tht seems to be an easier option. There are a good selection of places available.
