Visited here on a Thursday and Friday, Thursday was better than Friday. We were able to get on everything on Thursday and did re-rides of what we liked Friday. Time traveler is awesome! The park has a lot of hills. Some of the restaurants closed early, wasn't sure if it was the time of year we were there or because it was a weekday. Food is okay in the park, nothing spectacular. Make sure to check out the cave tour!

I loved my time here and can't wait to go back. The rides are great but the people and the shows and activities are amazing. I loved the fall decor. We attended the church service on Sunday and this is amazing that it is an option and the chapel is beautiful. The food is also great variety and really good. It is not too expensive for a theme park. Also the free parking with shuttle is great. Overall the family friendly and Christian community here is wonderful. The only negative is the hills hurt when walking and you need to be prepared or really in shape to do the entire park.

Don't believe any negativity about this place. other than the bathrooms smelling like a vent directly from an over clogged sewer, which is probably more guest related. the ride times were reasonable, the rides hedged a fair amount of thrill with chill. Do not sleep on outlaw run.

Back in October we tried for 2 days to go to SDC and they were closed which was very disappointing. I had even looked at their schedule earlier in the year and made sure they would be open BUT they changed their calendar sometime and of course I didn't get the update. That was like a Family Vacation moment for us...we were not happy! This time we were able to use our tickets but they don't open until 1pm during the Christmas season. What went right was everything except it was VERY cold if you've never been for the Christmas season do yourself a favor and go! The lights, the shows, the food, and the overall vibe just gets you in the holiday spirit. Another thing they do right is acknowledge the reason we celebrate Christmas as the birth of Jesus...we really enjoyed that because you don't see it enough these days. The Tastings pass is well worth the $37 because most items are full sized and not just the tiny tastings size. Also buy the refillable Christmas mug for $20 and use it all day unless you have the yearly membership cup. It's so worth it!

Everyone here is very kind and professional, and make every visit feel welcoming and fun. The ride selection is great for all ages ranging from smaller rides to bigger thrill rides for adventure seekers. They also have tons of food options, craftsmen and demonstrations throughout the day along with amazing performances. They also have trailblazer (fastpass) for a reasonable price that gets you to the front of the longer lines. Not to mention, the parking, marvel cave tour, performances, and demonstrations are all free! This is a great affordable theme park to visit if you are in Branson.

We enjoyed Silver Dollar City. My husband is from Missouri (St. Louis) and has been here a few times but it's been over 10 years since his last visit when my stepson was much younger. He highly built this up to me and so I was excited while on a family vacation this summer to St. Louis and the Ozarks we knew this was a must-see thing. We visited on Juneteenth so it was a federal holiday and it was HOT and very crowded. To the point where lines for every ride and every food counter were very long and walking around was very uncomfortable with the stroller - additionally, very little seating anywhere around the park and it's very hill-y and requires a lot of walking up and down sloped inclines. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do the main event - Marvel Cave. But, we did enjoy sightseeing with our baby and listening to some live music and looking around the park. Hopefully, on a return visit when our daughter is older we can ride rides and tour the cave. It's a cute historic-themed amusement park. Worth a visit if you're in Branson or nearby.

I couldn't even list all the amazing things about Silver Dollar City. But as an aspiring Elite Yelper I'll certainly try... lol PARKING: Free parking. Tiered parking if you want to pay various amounts and skip the tram. Several days we did late entry and the parking lot was empty so we parked super close skipping the tram which saved time at closing when there is a slight line for the tram. Other choose to walk and it gives an estimate of time on a sign of how long it will take you to walk to your specific lot. SDC CHURCH: Sunday 10am we loved the Wilderness Church service. Very accommodating and welcoming to all who wanted to attend. Near the front of the park. Sang several and a message from pastor. Truly enjoyed. HANDS ON: We petted goats and donkeys, saw a horse barn, pottery being made, glass and pottery shops, build a bear shop, Treehouse play area for kids, rode the carousel countless times, a real steam train plus "robbers" show, Flooded Mines shooting ride for littles, and WHOLE fire district with Lucky meet and greet, hot air balloons, ladder ride, mini swings, fire wagon ride, the indoor playhouse for littles and AC for adults, several water areas like mister and splash pad and rides to cool down such as the super popular Mystic, lots of shaded seating along the path, plenty of bathrooms, cute shops. EXCITEMENT: Incredible roller coasters like Powder Keg, Wildfire, Time Traveler, walk across the swinging bridge, watching the bread makers, the circus show, FIRE IN THE HOLE was incredible we rode it so many times, balloon toss game at the plaza, the teacups and wings of wonder and giant swings WITH the littles at the back of the park and the grand exposition roller coaster my daughter loved. FOOD: We generally brought our own food, water, snacks but since we were there several days we did buy a few items. The cinnamon bread!!! Yummmmm. And Starbucks coffee served iced or hot everywhere. Pizza at Crossroads was made fresh and cheese was quality. Kid meal prices are great, ice cream DELISH (hi blueberry swirl near giant swings) and (hi chocolate ice cream at Hannah's w the AC) FAVORITES: Grandfather's mansion is soooo cool for kids. My 5 and 4 year old went in countless times. A unique walk through experience. CAVE: Marvel CAVE included with price of admission! (Can pay extra for lantern 5:30pm tour) Incredible view, great cave tour guide. Not as challenging as I thought it would be. But the train out DID work for us. Def worth attending if you don't mind stairs. My 4 and 5 year old loved it! SDC HACK: It's easy to come in the AM take an afternoon break then catch a few hours end of day. Esp if you stay nearby. We had an Airbnb at Cove Point. UNLIMITED SUMMER PASS: We were here for 6 days in June 2025. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We made memories that will last forever. I highly recommend Silver Dollar City and you should get the unlimited summer pass so you don't feel rushed to fit everything into 1-2 days. It really made a difference! I came as a kid and this was just such an amazing full circle experience bringing my littles who loved it with my hubby and parents.

Fun amusement park! Loved all the Christmas lights & rides! It can be a bit confusing but there are plenty of maps and signage showing you where to go. There is a little something for everyone from shops to crafts, food, kiddie rides, face painting & rides for us thrill seekers! It is a bit hilly so be sure to wear comfy shoes & rest assured there is a tram from free parking right to the main gate! Our family had a great time! Thanks SDC, we will be back!

Silver Dollar City is a charming, old-time-themed park that leans fully into its 1880s aesthetic, and honestly, that's where a lot of its magic comes from. The pace of the park is definitely on the slower, more relaxed side--this isn't the place where you're sprinting from ride to ride all day. Instead, it's more about taking your time, enjoying the atmosphere, and soaking in the craftsmanship, music, and mountain-town vibe. The attractions are fun, with a mix of coasters, classic rides, and live demonstrations that fit right into the theme. It's the kind of place where you can spend half an hour watching someone blow glass or make candy and somehow not feel like you're missing out on anything. The staff is friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of the park. They add a lot to the experience. That said, they're not quite at the "Disney magic" level--few places are--as sometimes staff didn't have great answers for delays and were slow in ushering people into rides. Overall, Silver Dollar City is a great time if you appreciate a slower pace, handcrafted charm, and an immersive old-time atmosphere. It's not trying to be a high-octane mega-park; it's its own unique thing, and that's exactly why it works.

Updating my previous review: More parking lots, more people, even longer lines for everything. At what point does a place get to where they realize there's just too many people to accommodate? It got to be shoulder-to-shoulder at nearly every point in the entire park. TO SDC MANAGEMENT: Please don't let greed overtake you. There's just too many people allowed in the park at once. It's gotten to where it's not fun anymore.

This place is really fun! The roller coasters are really fun, lots of shops, and shows. We had a blast here.

This was our first visit to Silver Dollar City and it was so much fun! We paid for parking and got pretty close to the entrance for $20. There was a big variety of rides and attractions which worked for our family because we enjoyed a little bit of everything. We loved all of the water rides best because of the heat . We went ahead and did the cave tour and that was really cool, but longer than we expected. I definitely wouldn't recommend bringing little children on the tour because there were a lot of stairs and things got pretty steep/slippery. The food was fairly reasonably priced though and pretty yummy! The atmosphere was nice and very friendly. One thing I found surprising was the amount of people on motorized scooters & they were often in the way. We had three rides break down which was frustrating, but all in all it was a fun time. Definitely will be back!

Ask the Community - Silver Dollar City

Can you bring your own snacks into the park?

Yes! Just no glass containers or large coolers.

What's the price of a ticket?

Looks like 89$ for adults. Prices do not include tax. Ages 4-11 & 65+ Available For $10 Less Per Ticket. Children under 3 are free.

Do they serve alcoholic beverages in the restaurants?

I believe they do not sell any alcohol in the park.

How much does it cost to get in?

Best to check the website. They have different deals. Multi day etc. An adult one day is $74. Kids 4-11 $64. Seniors $72. I think after 5 pm during harvest fest it's $55. Military members children 11 below get in free with paid admission. Under 4…

    Are masks required?

    Not when I was there.

Do tickets need to be printed or will the accept the e ticket?

It appears they need to be printed from the FAQ section on SDC's website. A copy and paste follows.…

Do they have electric wheelchairs to rent?

Yes they do. Most people rent them on arrival. However if you plan to go on a busy day you may want to call ahead and reserve one. The online link in this copied and pasted statement appears broken on the page.…

Can you bring your own strollers or do you have to rent theirs?

You can definitely bring your own or you can rent the ones they offer, they are $15 and $20 for the single or double stroller. But we bring our own almost every time we go.

What will be the best day to visit this week July1-7?

I would go either on the third or the fifth because the fourth will be a nightmare

Are there lockers to rent for backpacks and personal items? How big are the lockers?

You can rent lockers. And the lockers are floating lockers so you can change lockers throughout the park and not have to pay each time you're getting a new locker.

    Any events happening in April?

April has the Festival of Wonder from Apr 11-29. There is also Young Christians Weekend the 6-8.

How much is it to get in and are the entertainments free?

It's best to check online. Prices can vary. Today it is $40 (December 28th 2017) they can be $68 I think with a season pass being cheaper than two one day tickets. Discounts for Seniors and a deal for Military too. Once you are in all the…

How are the lines to get on rides in this park? Here in Texas at our Six flags it's absolute torture, you could wait in line for two ours in the beating sun as there isn't much shade at allow

Not to bad. I usually attend on Sunday's and the wait is usually under ten minutes for most rides. If it's hot the water rides can be lengthy. Of course Saturday's are worse. During the Christmas season most people are there for the lights and the…

Can you upgrade your tickets to a season pass after you leave the park? We thought we saw that on signs in the park, but have not been able to locate the site to do that

Yes for $45 but it has to be the same day that you are at the park. it only includes the same park you are attending.

They have their own parking lot that seemed to get people in and out, and their line was short to buy tickets. My guy asked the cashier if I could bring my fanny pack, to which she quickly replied no, it needs to stay in the car and cannot be brought along to the ride. While I appreciate this information at the ticket stand, it was quite frustrating to get back home and see some AI-consolidated mentions of small lockers from a few months ago. Not sure if this is true or not, but I feel it should be mentioned on the website in FAQs and on signage at the site. Other than that, as a tourist, I still enjoyed the ride.

I've seen the food Quality go from good old down south cooking to very poor quality every day food with very high prices. The management has gone from old home body folks to Large Corporation style management. On usual days the park is crowded with long waits for shows and rides. Some of this caused by the fact the value money over good old courtesy of wait your turn and for more money some are allowed to cut line ahead of those that are less financially blessed. On the Silver Dollar Face Book Page I occasionally commented on post about the quality of the food and pricing. This was taken exception to by the Customer Service Rep -Gregory Craig and as a result, Instead of Rolling My season pass over as I was asking about he Voided my season Pass. Instead of listening to the comments about problems with the food , IN MY OPINION, he chose to basically cancel my Pass and deleted me from the Face Book Web Site. In General, Silver Dollar City , In my opinion is on a fast track to Big Business Money Grubbing Corporation Way of Operating. We are told we are the only party in that reservation slot, we get weighed, and sign the waiver. After you sign the waiver nothing happens. They don't tell you anything you just wait. I did mentioned that we tried to sign them online and another lady says oh yeah that doesn't work and we cannot change the email with the instructions either. Seems odd. Well, after you wait with no communication from the staff eventually Maykala came to say she was going to get us geared up. She took our group started to work with us and then a guide Seth came and told her to take a break. He may have been trying to be funny with some of the things he was saying, however it came off as very rude. Out on the lines we had a good time. The first line we went down everyone in our group was turning around and Seth made a comment to my husband and me that our boys were not holding the brake correctly causing them to turn, well when my husband and I went we both turned. The next line Maykala told us to hold the brake a little different and seemed to make a big difference. The problem was Seth was receiving and he told our one son (who has autism) he was doing it wrong which needless to say upset him since he did exactly what he was just instructed to do. Seth would continue to make comments to our boys that I'm not sure if he thought were funny or what, however again it just came across as rude. After the lines you return to the office. No communication if you are free to go or what. We knew from watching a previous group checkout that they have photos you can buy. So, when I went to buy some drink and the lady asked if I wanted photos I told her no one has talked to us about them however, yes we wanted them. Overall it was a fun time. Maykala was amazing!
