My child was intimidated right before an important performance. The room was not available until after 3:03, and staff did not effectively resolve the situation. This kind of behavior and lack of management oversight is unacceptable. I also reached out to the manager but have not received any response, which gives the impression that this business does not take customer concerns seriously.

It works so well that her niche age group is actually the 3 year old toddlers. With Nancy I learned fast especially when compared with my previous teachers. My understanding of music is deeper and so I don't have to practice as much just to get something right. I can remember most of the material while learning in class. Most of the time, I can master two-thirds of the fluency during lesson and so when I practice my pieces at home, it feels more like I am "playing the piano" instead of practicing meaningless repetitive phrases. This way it is more inspiring. If I don't practice at all, I can still progress a great deal. Nancy has a no-practice curriculum. I spend about 15 to 45 minutes per week on my piano. She usually only requires 8 minutes of practice time. It's a very high-purposeful way of learning. No BS. No more aimless practicing which would take too much time to have only a little bit of progress. Overall it's worked out well for me! I highly recommend her.

He is turning 4 in a couple of months and we absolutely adore Nikolai. My son loves his class, naturally gravitates toward him even at a young age. His classes are interactive to both children and caregivers. His philosophy on including adults to join in the singing/dancing with the children during class time is on point with how I feel. The songs/activities are very age and developmentally appropriate to help with speech. It's been a tough year and a half for everyone and Nikolai did everything he could (on line classes, and outdoors classes) to keep things going. While it's not always easy, he always give out a positive vibe in his emails and through his interactions with the children. We wish him the very best! *heart

Grandma is now retired but she opened the store over 20 years ago. Everything they have in this small shop is thoughtful and great for kids. We ended up buying a kite for a kid's birthday. They have small kites and very large complex kites ranging from $15 to $50. They have a nice assortment of books with diverse protagonists. I almost picked up the Spanish version of Junot Diaz's Lola but I resisted. My two year old would probably need to get a little older before being able to appreciate that book. They also have board books and even an embroidered first Bible. Their puppets in the store are fun. Grandma is proud that she got the puppet maker to include legs so they could be used as puppets or dolls. We left with our kite wrapped and a hand made 3D birthday card. What a wonderful store. Now I can't wait for the next kid birthday so I can come back!

The staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. Additionally, the studio hosts many jams and other events which demonstrate a true (and sadly rare) dedication to supporting local musicians. I get a great vibe from Funkadelic, and am very glad they are still around, when so many other rehearsal studios have disappeared.

Funkadelic Studios also dba MJ Studios Inc. which resides on the third floor of an office building…read more Funkadelic Studios houses a total of thirteen (13) active rooms well equipped with sound, lighting as there is also a recording music studio on the premises. Admission for $5.00 with patrons' hand stamped allows patrons to hop six rooms (only six rooms were reserved for this event) in the course of the night. One room for a chill out lounge room; one room for percussion and wind instruments; one room for spoken word poetry open-mic reading; and another for vocals. Room size vary in all thirteen rooms which gives a quaint audience for musicians/artists to be acquainted and comfortable of performing in front a live audience overcoming stage freight. Funkadelic Studios felt like a bar where located all on the same street of a live performance hop from room to room without ever leaving the building. For emerging musician artists and or established musicians Funkadelic Studios is a perfect venue for practice or debuting one's talent. A fellow prolific poet invited me for the spoken word poetry event which to my utter dismay the event did not begin until 9pm. There are soda machines and musical tool machines serving as emergency backup should musicians instruments brake a chord or lost a guitar pick. The rooms are insulated for soundproof as required by law and are equipped with functional A/C ventilation. I rate Funkadelic Studios for lack of food. I would not recommend Funkadelic Studios for youngsters under age 21 as the hours of operation for events, volume of noise, explicit language used are not kid-friendly.
