Our room was on the fifth floor of building 2. There is an elevator so accessing the upper floors is easy. There were plenty of luggage carts available. Our "room" was a one bedroom apartment. Full kitchen (full size fridge/freezer, stove/oven, toaster, microwave, 12 cup coffee pot, double sink, dishwasher, pots/pans, plates, utensils, etc) A large dining table with seating for six. Living room with couch and chair and TV with Cable and several streaming apps that you can sign into with your own credentials (also a DVD player which we did not use.) The king size bed in the bedroom was very comfortable! Another TV in the bedroom. The bathroom was very nice. Typical hotel bathrooms have terrible lighting for applying make-up, but the lighting in this bathroom was very bright and they offered a magnifying mirror. The tub is comfortable and large for taking a relaxing bath! The shower operated very well, with a normal shower head plus a hand held shower wand. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash supplied. Lots of towels and washcloths. This place was super clean, extremely comfortable. If I had to find a negative, it would be that they charge $15/day for parking which seems ridiculous. We would definitely stay here again.

We've enjoyed the activities of the area even with the inclement weather and the wine & beer tasting ! I especially appreciated that the outlets were located in convenient places around the room, which makes a difference when traveling with phones, chargers, and devices. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room comfortable all night. The common areas were also clean and well maintained. The lobby had a welcoming feel, the indoor pool area was bright and inviting, and the breakfast area was organized and easy to use. Breakfast was decent, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered a turkey sausage patty in addition to the regular breakfast items. One thing worth noting is that they no longer keep coffee makers in every room as part of their sustainability policy. Instead, they offer fresh coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day. It means a little extra walking, but the sign explained that it is part of their effort to reduce single-use waste, which I can appreciate. Also, the front desk can provide a coffee maker if requested. The only minor issue was that the downstairs beverage machine did not have a water option because that feature was broken during our stay. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and dependable overnight stop, and I would definitely stay here again. 117 Highway 43 E Harrison, AR 72601

As I approached my room upon returning, I observe my door propped open with the swinging latch. I presume my room was left unsecured on open by the housekeeping staff. I immediately called and reported this to the front desk. The man who answered speculated "... it must have been left that way by the housekeeping staff" and encouraged me to look for any items I'm missing. What part of the hotels housekeeping procedures include "prop guests doors open and leave unattended during and after your shift"? What I might have had stolen from me is only part of my concerns. The bigger concern is what was covertly done to the room and my belongings in my absence. I provided the above review is response to a Holiday Inn email requesting a review of my stay. Seven days later I receive an email from a member of the corporate "Service Team" who offered to me the hope local hotel management "... will take the necessary actions to ensure the best practices are in place."

I was so happy that she had a cabin available (cabin #2)! And what a cabin! These are log cabins with long decks that overlook the Arkansas hills. Everything was clean and just really, really nice. I was looking for a place with a full kitchen, and this had it (well, minus the oven, but that was OK, it had a toaster oven!), including full-sized refrigerator, microwave, stove. The kitchen had everything you might need: pots, pans, all manner of utensils, all the dishes and silverware, storage containers potholders, etc. There was a dining table, and couches and a coffee table in front of the fireplace. There were games on the shelf that you could play, there were lots of power outlets, big fluffy towels in the bathroom, and parking for 2+ cars. The downstairs bedroom had a queen bed (I think) and upstairs in the loft was a twin and a double. Lots of room to spread around here! The deck had a birdfeeder and a hummingbird feeder (and, yes, the hummingbirds do show up), with rocker-swing two-seater, barbecue, bench, and two chairs, just plenty of room to hang out. Our deck overlooked a beautiful field in front of the view of all the pretty Arkansas hills. Oh, and the sunset was almost directly in front of us! I felt like I was living in the hunting lodge of a Lord of the Manor and thoroughly enjoyed being there. It is about a quarter-mile up a side road from Highway 7, just south of Jasper, and it was very quiet there except for the sounds of birds! Kelly was extremely accommodating and gracious, and again, I was thoroughly thrilled to find this place on short notice because it was really spectacular and beyond my expectations!

Sitting on the side of the mountain, each cabin features spectacular views of the valley. With three full size beds, our cabin was just the right size for a group looking to explore the nearby river or hike in the mountains. The kitchen is fully outfitted and they even provide a grill! The only drawback is that there is no internet or TV. Of course, this might be seen as a benefit to some as it adds to the charm or being in a cabin in an area known for its outdoor activities.
