Maria, Roxane, Danni and Dr Raoufinia were amazing. Broke my crown and needed a new one as I was in a lot pain. I called the office spoke to Roxane and they let me come in as an emergency visit with in 20 minutes of my initial call. Dr. Raoufinia fixed my tooth and sent me on my way in less than one hour. I am so relieved. Thanks for understanding! Tooth aches are no joke. Am glad I had my pain taken care off with in 2 hours of breaking my crown. I do NOT recommend you come to this practice unless you plan on Receiving over promises and under Delivered Results. I recently came to get a crown done, and the doctor over exaggerated his ability to get my correct Shade of white. They even took fragments of my tooth that they drilled off to send to their alleged lab upon receiving the crown, the shade is completely off, and the doctor realized that himself but of course, tried to brush it off, because they are just money grabbers. Their so-called manager named Roxanne is extremely rude and has an unnecessary attitude as if every day is a bad day for her. Unless You 100% agree with everything that's going on and have no issues that will be the only time you receive Nice treatment from this Office. Their Teeth cleaning services are superb but anything else I wouldn't recommend especially if you have gotten any type of previous work done such as veneers. The doctor had a lot to say about the work that was done on my teeth by a Different cosmetic Dentist but couldn't even Achieve the shade that That my other cosmetic dentist was able to achieve with ease. My whole issue with them is that if you couldn't do it, why say you could and then be upset that I have a problem with the unsatisfactory results. The doctor displayed a very narcissistic attitude and was very aggressive I was terrified. Don't waste your time. Now they're withholding my records with them, even though I filled out the necessary paperwork to obtain my records. I started visiting Dr. Nima Raoufinia's office about 4 or 5 years ago. In that time, while the office has gotten more stylish (kudos to your decorator), the quality remains the same. Dr. Raoufinia is very thorough, knowledgeable, professional AND highly personable. The staff - love Roxy :) - is also very efficient and friendly. On my latest visit Saji was my hygienist and she answered my questions and followed up on pricing when she wasn't sure. Essential for out-of-pocket patients. I moved over an hour away nearly a year ago but wouldn't consider switching to someone else. ​Let me first start by saying I am terrified of the dentist, due to a few experiences I had when I was child. I will dodge the dentist any chance I can get. About a month ago I experienced a toothache from hell overnight, by the following morning I went to work suffering and crying. I searched all over the Washington, DC area and no office could take me on a late Friday afternoon. The earliest appointment I could find was the following Wednesday until I stumbled across Silver Spring Cosmetic Dental. I talked to the receptionist basically in tears, she scheduled me the same day (Friday) @ 5:00 p.m. I work downtown Silver Spring so this was perfect for me. The moment I walked into Dr. Raoufinia's office I felt warm and at ease. My old dentist would give me a pill to ease and relax me. I asked the receptionist for something similar, she said they didn't have anything on site but moving forward they will see if they can accommodate me :) I filled out my paperwork and within 5 minutes the Dental assistant called me to the back. She knew I was nervous and tried her best to calm me as much as possible. I don't think I completely calmed down until I met Dr. Raoufinia, boy is he warm. He could tell I was tense and made me feel at ease. I received TWO extractions and I felt nothing but pressure and heard nothing but Dr. Raufinia's calm voice checking on me every 1-2 minutes throughout the process. Due to not getting as much dental work as I should've over the years, I also need two root canals which Dr. Raoufinia will perform. Dr. Raufinia's bedside manner, personality and experience cannot be found in any other dentist I've met in my entire life. I will go to him for any procedure and will also go to him routinely to get my dental up to par. I really didn't want to make this review because I wanted to be selfish and keep him to myself, but he's so amazing I have to share him with the world! This is likely one of the last independent dentists in town, and it really makes a difference in service. The dentist does the cleanings himself, and does one of the best jobs of it I've ever experienced. He is also very charming and personable, and both he and the dental hygienist make sure to check in with you as the process goes along. I came in for a consultation with Dr. Mitra Davaninejad in Merrifield and she was very knowledgeable and recommended I go to her husband in silver spring as I live closer to that office. So glad I found this place and could not recommend this family practice more! He always told me what I needed to hear and not what I wanted to hear. I have been going here for years getting necessary work done including root canals, extractions, crowns, etc. I have terrible anxiety especially when it comes to the dentist, and every single time I went to Silver Spring Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Raoufinia made me feel like he cared and he always checked on me when I would move my foot or ball my fist as a coping mechanism for my anxiety.
