I am so happy that we can give back to the community as a family here. Thank you SPCA for being open minded to families. Being volunteers we get to see a bit of the behind the scenes, and let me tell you, everything is labeled, thoughtful, super clean and well kept. It's is actually quite amazing! Their facilities are quite nice as well. We love looking at their display board of how many animals they have adopted out that month. I wish more people took the time to volunteer for the community and for the animals. It is something I cherish and want to instill in my kids. Thank you SPCA for allowing this to happen.

The team at the SPCA was truly understanding, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. They made something so heartbreaking feel as smooth and gentle as possible, and we are beyond grateful for their kindness during such an emotional time. Wish if our situation changes we could get him back but there's a form that I had to sign saying they might not do that (very hurtful). There were a lot of tears today, but we are holding onto hope and praying that Tyson finds a loving, safe, and happy forever home. We trust that the SPCA will do right by him and help place him with a family who will love him just as much as we do. Tyson will always be a part of our hearts.

After lab results came back the next day it turned out she needed a couple prescriptions. His assistant, Wendy, contacted the Walmart where we were to pick them up. When we got to Walmart they claimed they'd received no prescription. (as it turned out they had) So we went home about 40 minutes away. I called Wendy and explained what had happened. She said she'd straighten it out. Because of recent fires our road to Reno was closed we couldn't go. Wendy called when she found the roads were now opened she offered to deliver the prescriptions. I really appreciated the offer but told her it wasn't her fault but Walmarts and she didn't have to take responsibility for their mistake. We drove in and got the prescriptions and Walmart admitted they'd screwed up. When you get service like this you should let people know. The people at Klaich deserve a great review.

Unfortunately we've noticed that the more they've grown over the years the less care they put into the time and care they put into each pet. One of our dogs had surgery to remove a mast cell tumor and immediately after he was released the wound broke open and the tumor wasn't fully removed, which cost well over $4,000 and the tumor grew immediately and more aggressively. Another time we tried to get into be seen by their urgent care and the receptionist was extremely dismissive and in so many words told us we wouldn't be seen for hours. I understand that vet offices are very busy and it can be difficult to squeeze in urgent appointments but don't offer them if you can't manage them. Ultimately, there are many different vet clinics in the area that can offer more time and care into each pet they see. I would look elsewhere if you're looking for a new vet.
